Wheel Woolies Brush 3 Piece Kit Reviews
Customer Reviews
Had high hopes for these brushes but was disappointed with the large woolie. The wool started to come apart after a few uses and the thickness of the large unit mage it very limited when cleaning different wheel configurations. It also holds too much water making it an instrument of fatigue. The smaller versions were more versatile and help in-between wheels, door jambs etc. Going back to the EZ Detail Brushes that clen very well, lighter and more durable.
I have used various wheel brushes in the past. The other brush that I would use in the past for cleaning wheel barrels is the Speedmaster style brush. The issue that I have with the Speedmaster style brush is that it would splatter back on you when you would pull it back out from the wheel. BUT MY MAIN ISSUE IS, that the plastic tip would eventually come off and you can scratch the wheel very badly with the Speedmaster style of barrel brush.
So I kept searching for a better solution. I tried the Wheel Woolies style of barrel brush and I am very happy with the brushes. They don't splatter much and there isn't a tip to come off and scratch your wheels. They seem to be very durable and easy to clean. They hold a lot of solution and clean the wheel effectively.

My rims are 19"and glossy black, no damage works great. Speedmaster brush was to stiff left very
fine scratches, had to re-polish the first wheel I tried it on.

Ok, sold. I'm stubborn sometimes. Most of the time. I've had my EZ Detail brushes for years. And they're still great. But now I'm a man of a certain age, detailing my own 10" BBS wheels. So I took the plunge. My review in simple terms: BUY THESE. They are amazing. After testing on my car, I've used them on two customer cars. I'm not sure how they can simultaneously be so soft, yet so effective. It must be magic. These are a total game changer, especially on sadistically designed multi-spoke wheels.
Love these wheel woolies ! They are Super Fluffy and Soft and work Great for Black rims that can scratch easily. I use these on more delicate wheels. (Black, Chrome Rims). Great quality and very Durable.
Brushes work Great
Brushes were Great.
Quality holds up well in both acid and none. I use them every day, better than others I have bought and thrown out in the past.
Great addition to ez detail brush
I have used a lot of wheel cleaning tools, everything from old microfiber wash mitts wrapped around dowels to the Daytona speed brushes to clean my wheels. The Wheel Woolies make the job a lot easier!
My only "negative" about them is that they should have a "grip handle" on them. They get a little hard to grip when one's hands are wet.

One of the best products I have purchased for my wheels. Really gets in and cleans brake dust on the front side and behind next to the calipher. You will be very pleased with the results and how much time the product saves.
Brake dust buildup on my wheels is a major problem. I have used wash mitts, sponges, and other brushes with varied success. Then I picked up these babies and boy are they great. Holding tons of soap and water in each stroke they do the trick. I use all three brushes to get into the nooks and crannies on my wheels, brake calipers, etc. I bought the rubber handle too, but I don't really use it (and it only fits on the biggest one anyway). Zach M said said no bristles means no dirty water flinging all over you--I second that one! Great product, definitely love my Wheel Woolies.
Great trio to attack dirty wheels. Easy to use and won't scratch painted wheels. Great for cleaning parts of the engine bay as well.
The woolies make cleaning rims very quick and easy, I never enjoyed cleaning rims until I started using the woolies. Definitely a must have.
They are little more gentle than the brushes, but not as flexible. You'll need to shift between the different size more often on the wheel and none of the sizes are ideal for details on most brake calipers. I like them though. Good to have both brushes and woolies to use as needed.
I already have a set of EZ detail brushes which I love using, but I had coated a set of wheels and I wanted something a little less aggressive. The wheel woolies are nice but sure you do not saturated them with water because they become difficult to use due to the extra weight. This is especially true with the larger one. The wheel woolies are nice but I will probably stick to the EZ brushes and use the smaller ones for areas that are hard to reach, like in the engine bay.
I've tried more wheel brushes than I can remember. After using these just one time, they have become my all-time favorites. If they aren't in your wheel-cleaning arsenal, you need to add them.
The 1inch and 2inch size are good for getting into the small areas but, I wasn't happy at all with the 3 inch. The 3inch was too big, every time I tried cleaning the wheel barrel -I would hit the rotor and couldn't clean far back enough. I think I'll try the mini EZ detail brush next time...
These are great tools for cleaning your wheels! The 3 sizes give you everything you need to get in between spokes, lug nut holes, and even all the way back to the barrel of the wheel. The soft material has proven to be safe on all finishes that I have used them on, and the lack of bristles means you do not get dirty water flung back in your face! These tools are not limited to use on the wheels though... I have found them useful in the engine bay, exhaust tips, and even door jams! Great product and the 3 Piece Kit is a great value!
