Sonax Polymer Net Shield Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
Sonax Polymer Net Shield is a product that I have used on several different vehicles now, and I am always pleased with the results. SPNS provides good overall protection that helps your vehicle stay cleaner for longer periods of time, and also makes routine washing & drying easier.
Customer Reviews
I accidentally bought the polymer net shield thinking that it was sonax CC36 since they're both aerosols on the ad, looked the same. But the product is awesome. Bought two, beads up the car as advertised and shown. I've applied up to 3 "coats" 6 hours apart to see if it would do anything before I drove it the next day. Driving in the PNW rains is beneficial. As always if you don't wash/wipe off road water, it will still leave the dirty water spot mark but it still beads good. I haven't cleaned it, so I'm curious if it's left a hard water mark spot. I will still purchase cc36 next though.
This great product and very easy to apply. For really nice gloss and protection.
Love this stuff everything about it. Better than any carnuba wax for sure!

Careful with this product based on your environmental conditions. I live in Pac NW rural area with lots of predatory birds, including bald eagles, vultures, and large hawks. Predatory bird stool can be a problem due to high protean content/acidity - their bombs can etch through your protection into your clear coat requiring buffing. I clayed jet black Nissan and applied two coats of PNS (even though Sonax says 2nd coat unnecessary). Then maintained with ONR plus Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer (essentially a sealant more than a "detailer"). About 30 days afterward I parked car in sun after lunch and when I came out of the office at 4pm I saw a large BBomb on the hood, and quickly grabbed my ONR from the trunk an got it off, but noticed that it had already etched through the PNS protection and into the clear coat. This had never happened before so I have gone back to spring clay prep, then two coats of Chem Guys Jet Seal 24 hrs apart. I then alternate waxes such as DodoJuice Blue Velvet or Wolfang Fuzion with light sealants like Optimum Opti-Seal, H20 Guard and Gloss by Adams Polishes, or Activate Instant Wet Finish Shine by Chemical Guys all of which add great gloss and water beading for several weeks. Sorry Sonax but PNS just can't stand up to acidic bird bombs.
If you're not using a coating, this is the next best thing. Sonax Polymer Net Shield is so very easy to use and lasts a lot longer than other sealants I have used. This is a product that I would gladly pay $70 a can for because I know where it stands in this industry. The beading and protection you get from this product is unmatched!
I use this product in conjunction with Sonax CC36. I use it every 6 months and love it. I spray the product directly to an applicator pad to avoid overspray. It goes on easy. Just make sure to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. It gets a little tacky when applying but is easy to buff off.
Brake dust sticks to the wheels just as much as it did before applying this product. No change to that condition is observed.
This is not the most effortless product application process, but out of all the sealent's I've used, this one by far exceeds any and all immediate expectations. I can't speak for longevity, but in the 2 weeks since application, the hydrophobic properties are similar to a pro coating. Yes it's that good. Road grime comes off the paint effortless and the sealant looks amazing.
As I mentioned above, one spray on an applicator pad, work it into the paint and immediately buff it off with a plush microfiber. The PNS is a little grabby, but that's because it's surface tension is so high. At the end of the day this will become my new sealant of choice if I see the durability last over time. While I don't expect 6 months, I'd take 3 anyday of the week. Only time will tell. But so far so good. Great product, great price, great results.

I tried this product for the first time in the fall of 2015 before the first snow fall. This stuff worked beautifully. Not only did it make my car look a darker shade of black but it continued to protect throughout the winter months, beading and shedding water. I will continue to use and buy this product.
Love it! So easy to apply and remove. As others stated, it's a little grabby but still super easy to apply. Butter smooth to wipe off. Make sure you have plenty of clean mf towels handy.
This product is awesome! I liked it more than some of the coatings I have used and the hydrophobic properties are sure to blow you away. If you spray directly onto panel and immediately buff with a microfiber towel the application is easier than what is recommended on the bottle, even though you will use more product.

Personally I've never been preoccupied with how long a product would last because I know it's going to be one week until I find something else to try out! But I understand keeping customers happy is a priority. This product does make a great sealant. And whatever you do don't go spreading any wax on the sealant, it's really not gonna do anything but screw things up.... Psychologically it sounds but why wouldn't you be happy with the crystal persuasion it leaves on your car? This spray also makes an excellent trim dressing. One definitely needs to act quickly however when applying to plastic parts. Basically just keep spreading the product until the piece is dressed or covered. Also this stuff works great on glass too. I find sometimes I don't even have to turn my wipers on. This usually lasts about 10 seconds til my girlfriend freaks out. I can't see!!

Good product I use this as my introductory protection for my business, I dont use waxes. I have been able to get 6 cars out of one can. Really good product its worth every penny.
I used this product on both my 06 BMW 330i and my 14 Honda Accord. In both cases it has added gloss and has provided good protection as evidenced by easier washes and serious beading of water. The BMW was done about 5 months ago and the Honda 2. I would estimate 4-6 months is probably the usable life of the product application. It goes on very easy, one can covered both cars with enough left over to probably do another car if I use it sparingly.
