The Rupes Cut & Finish Wool Rotary Pad will help you remove heavy imperfections from your paint while finishing down exceptionally well. Featuring a similar design to Rupes wool pads for dual action orbital polishers, these pads use only the highest-quality genuine merino wool fibers refined to maintain a consistent fiber length of 20mm. These fibers are then assembled in an extremely dense pattern and packed into a foam interface. Utilizing a low profile design and unique construction allows it to contour, remain stable, stay balanced, and overall control during operation. These pads come in various sizes and work great on all rotary polishers, especially the Rupes BigFoot Rotary Polisher LH19E. I have been detailing vehicles (unprofessionally) for about 35 years and have never used a rotary. I am currently working on a 2001 BMW 740i with severe paint defects, scratches, oxidation and water marks. I started with a coarse DA wool pad on a Rupes MK15 and moved to the 6" rotary Rupes coarse wool pad with a Maxshine rotary since it was taking a bit too long to get the results I needed. I can honestly say WOW! It does exactly what it claims. Removes all the above safely and leaves a superior smooth finish. If it weren't for slight hazing (and I mean slight) I would not need a second pass with a yellow foam and finishing polish. Highly recommend.
