Product Description

The Rupes BigFoot Mark V Polisher offers an incredible balance of power, safety and performance that enthusiasts and professionals will enjoy. With advanced features and cutting-edge design elements, Rupes improved on the already popular Mark III for the Mark V. Now, you might be asking what happened to the IV, well the main reason is that Rupes considers their awesome battery powered units (iBrid HLR21 and iBrid HLR15) as their 4th iteration. The Mark V is engineered from the ground up for optimal performance and to effortlessly achieve the best polishing results possible. Additionally Rupes designs all of their polishers to be a system meaining that every component (ie polisher, backing plate, Rupes Pad and Rupes Polish) is meant to work together extremely well. With the improved design, a common theme is the strong emphasis on vibration reduction, noise reduction and overall machine efficiency and comfort. Some of these improvements include:

47% percent noise reduction from the previous Mark III.
10% Lighter than the Mark III
Advanced polysynthec gear system offers smoother operation with minimized noise and vibration, reducing user fatigue during long polishing sessions.
New one block head cover. Helps reduce vibration, smoother operation, improves user comfort and enhances overall tool durability.
The eccentric set is smaller and more compact, reducing weight to the unit, minimizing energy loss and vibration for a higher-quality finish.
New anti-spinning ring helps reduce friction and heat while polishing and the vent slots keep the motor cool and allow for superior ventilation.
The Mark V is 13mm shorter than the Mark III (a 10% reduction), lowering the tools center of gravity for enhanced control and reduced slipping.
PrecisonPro Backing Plate is incredibly thin, yet balanced and durable. Rubber edge protects delicate surfaces and aisd in control and precision in tight spaces.
