I have a few panel wipes on hand, and this is my favorite.
I tend to align these products with the intended coatings their paired with.
I use Optimum Gloss Coat on customer cars more than anything else. In fact, nothing else has yet to make it out of the testing stage to be offered to customers. As such I use Optimum Paint Prep more than the others.
Very straightforward, and intuitive to use. Leaves a very clean surface without any film, or strong odors (although CarPro Eraser smells great!).
If you're using any Optimum Paint protectants (Car Wax, Opti-Seal, Gloss Coat) but using a competitor polish, Paint Prep can be a huge asset in maximizing the performance of those paint protection products, as some of those competing polishes can be very incompatible with the Opti line.

I have always used a 50/50 mix of distilled water and IPA as my paint prep spray, but I am now using this Optimum Paint Prep. It does a much better job of cleaning the surface, has better lubrication, and even smells better. Very affordable, as well. Another great OPT product added to my arsenal.
It is the best paint prep I've used; I literally used it as a prep for repainting; after spraying my paint it wrinkled in a large area that I guess still had some contaminants on it; after it dried for a short time, I scuffed up the area and wiped it with the paint prep... re-shot the paint = no issues; great stuff
I just purchased my second gallon of this product. The price point is fantastic and works better than CarPro Eraser in my experience. It works very well removing polish residue in order to prep the paint for sealants, waxes, and coatings. Makes a great glass cleaner too. This product evaporates quickly, but not to fast. Leaves no streaks and you can spray a whole side of vehicle down then dry.
I have never made my own IPA or purchased one before. I bought the spray bottle size and I really liked the results. When it ran out I bought the gallon. Paint is squeaky clean after using it.
Used before applying a competing brand's SiO2 coating. Works better than IPA in my opinion, seems to get deep down to all layers of protection and strip them out. For the price, you cannot beat it.
Perfect product to use prior to applying Optimum Gloss Coat. It works great prior to using opti-seal as well. It allows for product synergy. It states right on the bottle that is leaves no surfactants behind. That is a huge plus. I like it better than CarPro Eraser.
Product is very easy to use and goes hand in hand with Opti Gloss Coat when preparing a car for their coating system.
Half the price of what I was using...works as advertised!
