Optimum Big Red Wash Sponge Reviews

I have tried many sponges, including the one that is blue, by LC.. This one is on a different level than others. I can justify paying more, because it is much softer. Have used it twice so far, best sponge I have ever used !

Pricy, works, but pricy. I'm not convinced that I couldn't take a grout sponge and make cuts with a razor blade and achieve the same results. Either way it does what it says it does. I only use it with ONR.

I thought it was a little pricey for the sponge but I used it and it's great it gets dirty after using it but you need to put the extra time in and clean it after I use Dawn soap and massage it in and rinse and it comes out looking brand new you can tell it will last a long time as long as you take care of it overall great sponge well worth it

I've been using ONR with mutiple wash mitts. I used it with the Big Red sponge for the first time today. Color me impressed!

I was skeptical about this sponge.... Finally broke down and bought it. I have to say I am impressed! I've used it with ONR on my vehicle and a few I maintain and I can definitely see how they work together just like Optimums products work together.. Now let's see how long it will last, I am keeping it in a bucket of ONR like recommend.. Will update in the future.

Love this sponge it has many uses, I mainly use it for waterless washing but can serve many purposes.

I have used my sponge and ONR twice. Much faster and far less water used than a two bucket wash. Granted, my car stays pretty clean, so this works great. What a great feeling...to be done washing my car in 20 minutes. Seems strange to wash and dry car section by section, but looks awesome when done.

Yes , I would buy again. It works great, just like in video, sometimes when you watch a video of a product , when you get products, it does not work like the video. The Optimum Big Red Wash Sponge does Work like the video and even better. It gets the dirt off the car and then leaves it in the ONR bucket. I have 2 cars, a truck, a big mower and a Gator, I am going to use Optimum Big Red Wash Sponge on all of them.

Awesome quality sponge, The little "finger" like knobs help get into hard to reach areas. If I end up using this into the ground, I will be buying another one. A must-have for ONR washers.

Excellent quality sponge! When used with ONR, it's a dirty grabbing and releasing machine. Optimum recommends you soak it in ONR for 24 hours before first use and actually leave it in ONR after each wash. ONR seems to soften it even more and the two seem to work very well together. I found it seems to love ONR and holds onto loads of it. Even when I washed lower rocker panels and mud guards which seemed to stain the sponge, it immediately released all the dirt just by dipping it in the solution of ONR. I've found using this sponge is much easier than loads of MF towels when performing a rinseless wash. I have a non-metallic black car and have been using this sponge with ONR for a little over 6 months now and have yet to find any new swirls or light scratches. If you're a fan of ONR, this is a must have.
