Oberk Single Step Foam Pad Medium Grade Reviews
Customer Reviews
Unless you have really hard paint like Audi, or super soft like Tesla, this will achieve a good level of correction while finishing out on a variety of paints. Great for being in the middle that will make a marked difference, comparable to the Koch Chemie yellow fine cut pads, which bite a little more than Lake country orange polishing pads. This is what I'd choose if I wasn't getting quite the finish I wanted from a uro fiber 50/50.
I dig this pad. I found it a bit more aggressive than expected, but for some jobs that's a really nice value-add. I'm not sure I'd use it on one-step efforts, but that may just be an initial impression. I used it after compounding on a 2019 Audi, and it left behind some light scratches and micromarring. Those cleaned up easily with the tried-and-true LC white pad (same product - Optimum Hyper Polish), so no complaints.
Nice pad. Pretty aggressive cutting power.
For using an AIO product, they are absolutely perfect. These feel and perform similarly to other yellow foam polishing pads, but at the price point, they are hard to pass up. Quickly becoming my favorite go-to foam pad, they are very versatile. They can correct as well as an orange foam light cutting pad when using compound, but they finish down as well as a light polishing pad when using a finishing polish. These are pretty firm pads, so be careful near sharp body lines.
My go to pad for one step corrections. Pair with a light to medium polish to watch the swirls and light scratches disappear, finish down great.
Purchased a couple of these the first time because price was reasonable & I figured why not. Just ordered 10 more, absolutely love this pad. It's my go too, single step pad. Combine with a light to medium polish to remove light to moderate defects & finishes down great. Use with a heavy cut compound & watch defects disappear, then grab a clean pad with a polish & watch the shine reappear.
