Oberk APS All Purpose Soap Reviews
Customer Reviews
We use this everyday in our Detailing business. It's the most effective and safe cleaner I've used for bug removal at a dilution of 15 parts water to 1 part APS. We also use a 20 parts water to 1 part APS for general interior cleaning and it lifts dirt easily from all interior surfaces with ease. We also use this for light carpet cleaning as well at the 20:1 dilution.
We HIGHLY recommend using APS.

Not overly impressed with this. The stripping capabilities of ANY shampoo can be upped with the addition of some APC in your soap bucket solution. That said I can't give this shampoo points in that department because I can make ANY shampoo a strip wash. SO looking at its other qualities(suds, slickness, cleaning power, resistance to drying in the breeze, etc) are what I'll have to go by and in that regard I find Carpro Reset the superior shampoo. Better suds, slickness, and cleaning power. This isn't a bad soap, it just doesn't stand out to me.
Oberk has been nothing but good to me when it came to using their products for correction needs, so when
I saw that they were releasing a soap/shampoo, I knew I had to give it a try and do some testing!
Ive used APS on 3-4 vehciles so far and found that its a great stripping solution that aids in removing protection thats at the end of its lifespan. If you're dealing with a sealant or wax that was recently applied, a second round of hand washing may be required to fully break it down further. The only "con" if you'd like to call it that, is that APS is for sure a product thats meant for bucket washing, not so much for a foam cannon as the consistency of this soap is on the thinner side, resulting in less foam than other pre-rinse solutions. Smell is very neuteral, working time when working indoors/ shaded area was long, which is great, however I have not tested this in direct sunglight, but the one detail that surprised me the most was the amount of slickness & lubrication this soap offered during the contact wash. Wash mitt/pad glides very nicely on the surface of the vehicle and makes for a great wash experience.
All in all, Im very happy with Oberks APS, and I can see it being a staple in my small buisness when prepping vehicles for Cquartz Coatings.
