Love this product. Definitely helps speed the process up but still does a quality job.

If you already have a well maintained vehicle, then this product is what you need to skip the lengthy clay bar process. I had my doubts, but was pleasantly surprised. I would still recommend clay bar for heavy contaminant buildup, but if you keep good care of your car/truck, just buy this and you'll save valuable time and energy.

The clay bar is the old way, once you drop it, you are done. this one is easy to use and be able to wash and re-use it

this works incredibly well, and if you use plenty of lubricant (clay lube or extra soapy water) marring of the paint is very minimal. the rate at which it removes contaminants is very rapid, so this is a winner, but a bit expensive. the cost can be offset by the time savings versus a traditional clay bar and the durability of the clay mitt helps too.

I have used only claybars in the past. I used this for the first time last weekend and it was so easy and cut the time by more than half. No claybar residue after so it was easy to wash. Highly recommended!

What an amazing product. Used this in about 60F ambient temperature and it was great - it was extremely easy to feel the resistance of grit and feel when it had all released into the glove. Rinse and repeat. Turned claying into a process that didn't take any longer than a normal wash!

This was the first form of synthetic clay I have ever used. I broke it in on the glass on the exterior of my house to help get rid of water spots. The first car I clayed with this mitt was my Miata which has relatively soft clear coat and I was a little concerned about the marring this would cause. I'm happy to report it did not cause any unusual scratches/marring even with soft paint. Use the proper lubricant while using it and you will be fine. I have used this same mitt to do 5 cars/trucks and it is still performing just fine. I still like normal clay but my hands get very tired kneeding it over and over again - especially in colder weather! (50 degrees or lower).

Highly recommend buying this if you are looking for a clay alternative.

I use this about twice a year on each of my cars. It does a great job for reducing contaminate build-up. I will first wash normally the wash a second time using the mitt. I use a foam cannon with CG Honeydew. A liberal use of Honeydew provides enough lubricant. It took me a couple of uses to get comfortable using this but now I love it.

When it comes to synthetic clay, I've been using Nanoskin products such as the mitt and the smaller sponges.

Pro: I get many uses out of them to help recoup the cost. When broken in and used properly it does its job and leaves a smooth surface.

Con: It's priced a little higher than I'd like. I wish there was a discounted option to buy a mitt, sponge, and towel.

Overall it does its job and I always have one in stock.

So much better than a clay bar, gives a slick finish in less time. I didn't have to stop & reshape, like a clay bar, and if I drop it, just rinse it off.

This is a great tool, it a bit temperature dependent. To hot and it will leave a rubbery residue whereas to cold will make it so that it is to stiff and ineffective. When used in the right setting I think it is on par with clay but lasts longer.

I'd recommend cleaning it with a soft brush prewash to make sure you are good to go. Unlike clay that's constantly in your hand and light colored, you tend to forget clear debris from it regularly.

These pads are better then clay. Quicker time to decontaminate the paint. love this thing its great on glass also. Saving time means more money. It is worth getting one. Cant think of any cons.

Absolutely love this wash mitt. I live in AZ and had a problem with dirt sticking to the paint of my car no matter how often I washed and waxed it. It always had a rough surface unless I used clay. Now I wash my car, then go over it one more time with the Nanoskin and soapy water and the paint is smooth as silk in just a few minutes. This is a huge time saver. I agree with the other reviewers that I can feel the mitt removing dirt. It's not as sensitive as with clay, but there is feedback enough to know when to move on to the next section. Great Product!

10 times better than claying.

Decent product. Easy to use. Not sure if it is as effective as a traditional clay bar, but it is certainly far easier to use.

First and foremost I would like to props to DI's customer service. My order included a bottle of Sonax All Purpose cleaner.

The package arrived crushed, wet and still leaking fluid via USPS. The mitt was covered with the APC and after washing the mitt and allowing to air dry, the mitt was still "tacky" to the touch.

Contacted DI and to my surprise, received a response around 10 P.M. EST apologizing for the condition of the package and was told that new shipment would be sent out in A.M., which it was. Excellent customer service!!!

As for the mitt, very easy to use and very effective. Will buy another when it's time to replace this one.

LOVE THIS -works so well, so easy!!

I purchased the Fine version and also the Nanoshock lube. On a scale of: 1-10, I give the Nanomitt a 15! Unbelievable on how effective and easy this was to use. I like the Nano mitt vs the cloth version because the mitt covers much more surface area more effectively yet the corners of it are still soft and flexible enough to get under the door handles and in the tighter corners of the car. I did my wife's SUVS in 30-45 mins and that was taking my time. I have NO need or interest in ever using a clay bar again.

Here's the kicker....after using the mitt and putting on some Meguiar's NXT, my wife, who couldn't care less or notice a nicely detailed car, was impressed with how incredibly smooth the car was. Now that's saying something!

One word of caution with the Nanoskins....
I read somewhere, maybe it was in these reviews, where someone scuffed up their clear protective bra. I have no experience or knowledge of that issue. I have clear film on my vehicle and will not be using the Nano on those areas.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the results! Just keep the surface well lubed when using and you will be too. Highly recommended!

This is truly a fantastic product. Using the nanoskin mit I have shaved off a good amount of time on the claying process. Not only do I recommend it but I will be buying another one when this one wears out for sure.

Versatile as hell mitt. I always wash the car first doing prep, and then go over with this mitt with soap again. Takes contamination off fantastically. For very hard tar however or extreme contamination I'd go over spots again with a claybar.

In using this I found that if you put too much pressure it can mar the paint. This isn't ever an issue with me because I always polish or compound anyways after claying, but a good thing to keep in mind.
Make sure you don't store it in a damp or wet place. It'll mess up the clay on the clay side. I made this mistake when I was taking dirty and wet mitts and microfibers Into a trash bag for transport for cleaning. Forgot about the bag, clay got all gooey and came off a little bit

I use this product, the fine grade, with every exterior detail. I hardly ever use clay because of this new product. This is a must have for me.

Nano wash pad worked great. I used with CG super suds as a lubricant. Very easy to use and much quicker than clay and better results.

At first I was concerned about using the Nanoskin Fine Mitt but figured I would try it. This is a great product that is easy to use. Just like with anything else be sure to read the directions before using. I did wash the car first then used the Mitt and Glide spray. I had two buckets ready, one with soapy water and one plain water, and rinsed the Mitt regularly. It did the job without issues.
The surface was clean and slick. I also did an Iron X bath prior.
Just to reiterate...Be sure to follow the directions when using this product.

Nice but you have to be extremely careful with it.
My clear bra on the front of the car is ruined with this pad. I did not read any notice regarding not to be used on clear bra. I used the Nanoskin Glide plenty of it but still have marks all over the bra.

This definitely caught me off guard with it's performance! I would take this over a clay bar any day of the week. Reasons to buy:

Faster than traditional clay bar
Lasts way longer
Covers more surface area than clay bar
Doesn't leave any clay residue (My biggest reason for buying)
Easier to store and take care of
Don't have to worry about dropping it

This is a awesome item, I cant express how happy I am with the performance and ease of use with this thing. To clay bar a car is somewhat time consuming the traditional way, The auto mit is so fast and easy to use and the results are nothing short of amazing! The paint is smooth as glass and there no reshaping or if you accidently drop it just rinse it off good and your all set. I cant say enough good things. Highly recommend. Keep up the great items and customer service Detailed Image!!!

Decided to try this when I first saw it in new items.. Had it sitting around until recently and I was amazed at how easy it was to use! I made a very sudsy bucket and used it on a clean car like I would a mit washing the car. Came out great and ready for wax.
Like clay but easier for a whole car. Highly recommend!

I've never used detailing clay before, but I used this mitt on my car. I like that I could feel with my hand the areas of the car with small bumps of contaminant. After using it, the paint was extremely smooth to the touch, and didn't cause any marring to my paint. I love how smooth the paint feels, with just 30 min of work. I will definitely do this every 3 months when I reapply my sealant.
