way better than clay bar. 1/2 the time or less and if you drop it, just rinse it off. I use it on a Porter Cable 7424 DA and it's awesome. I did not care for the recommended lube, there are better ones out there.

way better than clay bar. 1/2 the time or less and if you drop it, just rinse it off. The only thing I do not recommend is the Glide lube that was recommended. I prefer Mequiars spray detailer instead, it seams to be much slicker than the Glide lube.

This purchase is amazing! I use this with a hand strap rather than the machine polisher. You don't need the muscle of a polisher behind it, you want to use it exactly like a clay bar, light and gentle gliding over the surface. The surface area is amazing, and it's reusable. It took 20-30 min to do a mid-size car the first time, and it did every bit as good as clay. The pad is flexible enough to get into corners and crevices, but strong enough to not flop around like the towel version does. I am ordering the medium grade one next. One of my favorite purchases! Also, though I did buy the recommended lube, I tried and stuck with the Poor Boys lube that comes paired with the DI clay and it did just fine.

I love this product. I've use traditional clay bars for years and will still use them on occasion, but this takes a lot of work out of the process and reduces overall time, which is important for detailers. READ the manufacture's directions on break in of the pad and proper setting for a DA Polisher.
