Meguiar's Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner and Conditioner M40 Reviews

This is the best vinyl and rubber cleaner and conditioner on the market bar none, hands down, nothing holds a candle to it that I have tried. It will remove old white wax and polish stains on trim, this is the only product I have used that does that. The smell is ok, not bad but not great. This is my go to and is a staple in my Detailing arsenal. Anyone who didn't reccomend this product is not using it properly. It is THE BEST.

This is awesome product that works great on leather and all hard and soft vinyl. Have used it in my detail shop for over 12 yrs. Excellent on rubber and cleans windshield wipers blades so they last longer. Clean them as much as possible after a rain or snow.

Very versatile product, you can use it for more than just automotive purposes too - anything rubber that needs protection. I use this on the door seals of my car and the dash/doors to protect them. I apply it to my windshield wipers to make them last a little longer. M40 also makes a nice tire shine, and it's good for vinyl seats. I've used this product to restore oxidized rubber in cupholders and so on. Pretty inexpensive product, it will last a long time. I wash my car weekly and apply it to the door seals/tires and one bottle would last me several months easy.

Very good product that leaves a nice natural finish. Also good for protecting and quieting down squeaky rubber bushings on vehicles.

Proects trim and tires very well. I have seen trim only protected, using #40 and it looks great after years of exposure.

I have been using this product for years now. Great on vinyl trim and rubber. It does have a light leather smell but (to me) the smell doesn't stay so it's not a big deal. I also use this to clean the rubber on my shoes. It has many uses.

Worked as advertised, but do not like the smell

This stuff is much better than expected! Just received it yesterday and thought I'd try it on the trim around the window of my Mustang. WOW does it make a difference. And the trim STAYS black. It doesn't just start fading back to the dark gray color after an hour. Its crazy to see all the gunk on the rag once you clean the trim as well. It'll leave a nice matte finish with a slight gloss to it. I also clean the center console arm rest with it and it leaves little gloss but the arm rest itself feels CLEAN. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky like some others I've used. Very smooth feeling. No longevity testing yet since I only received it yesterday. It seems like it will hold up very well though.

I've used this stuff for a long time. It doesn't leave a greasy shine and works great at protecting and keeping vinyl and plastic pieces of the interior looking new.

Used on the ebony vinyl trim of a second gen mdx. brings out the black nicely, not greasy if you buff it out after application. wanted to top it off with 303 but did not have time. already includes UV protection in the #40 though.

Can be a little streaky if you over apply

This does a nice job of protecting your surfaces and leaving a nice shine on the dash. I dont like a high gloss finish on the dash and this is a good product for a satin shine that doesnt reflect. This product is good for interiors not good on exterior as it tends to run when it gets wet.

This is the only Meguiar's product that I have used since the mid 1980's. The product cleans and protects and most of all, it doesn't leave the surface with a shiny look nor does it leave the surface with a greasy feel.

I've been using this product for years. It just works. Does an excellent job of *cleaning* hard interior surfaces such as the area around the gearshift etc. It does have a slight shiny look, but not overtly so.
