Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax Reviews
Customer Reviews
Product works best when you follow the full instructions for the first time using the rinse method of application in my opinion - especially for a vehicle that has a good base of wax or other sealant /coating. Just be sure to make a second pass to clean up and dark spots that are left from residual moisture and coating. It's a decent option but given the price. Still prefer using reload wet application over this for a quick shine kicker. It's my goto on though for quick wash wax customers who just want a shine between washes - not sure yet if it will last but doesn't seem like it will make it more than a month.
This is my second bottle of this product and I have to say it's the best of the ones I have tested. Easy to use and last for a couple of months. The only negative is that it is thick and you have to shake it up real good for an even coating.

Would they buy this item again? Yes
This spray wax looks fantastic and creates beautiful tight water beads. It's very important to put down a good foundation layer by applying with a microfiber and buffing it in with a second microfiber towel. Then I wait 24 hours and repeat the same process. The results are brilliant gloss with a deep warm glow to the paint. A small amount is all that's needed because a little goes a long way.
It doesn't do much of anything. Used on 2 daily driver Lexus's for a customer wanting a "wax" followed instructions on bottle. No difference afterwards. It's $10 for the bottle how could could it actually be.
Not sure I can ever live without this stuff anymore.
Great product. great price!
I put it on my new GMC quartz red pickup. It was easy to apply. After the application, I put the truck out in the sunlight and was amazed oh how the color just popped with shine! When I parked in a public parking lot, I see people stop and stare at it with amazement of how it shines. I recommend this product!

Applied twice with wipe on wipe off method. Love the slick feel and super tight beading.
I tried a few different methods of applying the product and i found the easiest was to wash the car and before drying i would spray some of the product on the wet panel and use a 303 microfiber towel to rub it into the panel and then wait a minute and then rinse it off with a hard blast of water. Beeding is great and gloss shine is awesome. So far it is still providing that same beeding action. Not sure how long it will last but for the money, this is a great product.
I purchased this product because it says SI02 infused. I went to the mcguire's web site and noticed that there was a question regarding UV protection. Mcguires says they do not include UV protection. Well that just does not work for me at all. I wonder how you can have an SI02 infused product without UV protection. I will stay with my Beadmaker great product.
I like it a lot. I'm using it on my new Harley with Denm paint.
I have a daily driver truck that was feeling very neglected. It had been over a year since it was last waxed and over a month since last washed. I picked out a day where it was going to be overcast all day. I washed the truck with Dawn to get all the dirt off of it and remove any kind of wax. I washed it with Dawn again using a fine Nanoskin pad (highly recommend) and then dried. I sprayed the Mequires Hybrid on a damp microfiber and rubbed on truck section by section and buffed each section with a dry microfiber as per instructions until the entire truck was done. It looked better but nothing to write home about. I then sprayed it with water and it did bead up but not with the results I was hoping for. I then sprayed the Mequires Hybrid on a section and let it sit for a minute or two. I then sprayed water on to the section with the production with as much force as the nozzle would give me. I could instantly see the change. If I had not watched myself, I would not have believed it. The water really beaded up now and just rolled off the car and the surface was slick and glossy. I wet each section sprayed the product, let it sit a minute and then blasted it off. The truck looks great, like the day I bought it. Spend the time to prep your car and follow the instructions. Not sure how long it will last but it looks great for right now. I used about half a bottle between both applications. I hope this helps.
Awesome product works as specified
Reading the directions is key to good results... is there better out there ? yeah sure but for the price ? Not to many. Very good product and held up well over time...worth checking out !
I was pleasantly surprised. I have a black Bentley and have tried various polish and waxes and this was as good or better than anything previously tried.
I did a side by side comparison on a black hood. Meguires Hybrid Ceramic Wax vs P&S Bead Maker, Bead Maker absolutely blew Hybrid Ceramic Wax out of the water in every way possible. Ease of application, gloss, slickness, hydrophobicity. The hydrophobic properties of hybrid ceramic wax where ok, where I was really disappointed is the lack of gloss and slickness after application. Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax did not enhance gloss levels at all, surface was dull and somewhat ruff to the touch. P&S Bead Maker brought out a crazy amount of gloss and left the surface smooth to the touch.
This test was done on a black Mustang after it was washed. Vehicle was not played, I wanted to see real world results of how these products would work if used by the average Joe. Results may have been different had I played the car first. Had I clayed the car it wouldn't have been a real world test, let's face it, the average Joe isn't going to clay the car.

I bought this to try for adding protection during winter washes at a self serve bay. This is my first experience with a spray on/rinse off product. I tried it on three daily drivers when temp was in the mid 30s. I did a quick rinseless wash with a pump sprayer and bucket; then applied the ceramic wax, blasted it off with a high pressure rinse, and dried the car. I did not apply it to the glass or wheels. I found the product really easy to use, and it left a lot of gloss. It will cause minor spotting if you do not dry the car throroughly. It was easy to remove, though. I used a twisted microfiber to get the bulk of the water off, then went over it with a waffle weave. I can't comment on durability because I am always adding some protection when I wash.
Tried it. Nice beading so far on my recently detailed truck, but the product is too new to say anything about how long it lasts. Probably just stick to the liquid wax twice a year and quik wax after a wash.
Meguiars screwed the pooch with this one. Save your money!
