Lake Country Rotary Backing Plate Reviews
Customer Reviews
The Lake Country Backing Plate works just fine on my small cordless drill just like it is supposed to.
Very good product
Pretty Good Quality for the price. No complaints. I would say though 3M has a better quality product.
My rotary polisher came equipped with the standard 7" diameter backing plate. Cutting and polishing with the large pads was a royal pain in the butt, as no matter what speed or compound/polish used, it would tend to sling. I switched it over to the Lake Country 5" pad... there is much better control using the 5" pads.
I don't use my rotary too often, as I prefer my Griot's Boss 15 polisher. I use the rotary on what I call "Lazarus projects" and severy neglected single stage paints. The 5" pad was a game-changer for me.

Lake Country's Backing Plate, like everything else I've tried of theirs, works just as it's supposed to. And Detailed Image takes care of the rest of the details...good symbiotic relationship. You can count on both companies.
