Lake Country Rotary Extensions Kit Reviews
Customer Reviews
Great for those tight or awkward spaces. I'm not sure how we did it before these.
Very nice machine and I trust Lake Country. Got this for my FLEX Kompakt (PE8) to work the small front and rear bumper areas, around the mirrors, and door handles. Wish someone sold a rubber sleeve for it!
Haven't had time to use this alot but I do believe they will get the job done and that's all you can ask for.
Good Quality and hold up very well for the Professional.
After an extensive search for an arbor extension for my grinder, I paid close to $100 having a machinist make only one similar extension of about 4 inches in length- out of aluminum. Although the threading and connections can be a little more precise(and I say this as a perfectionist), it is overall, more than adequate, and a true bargain given the two extensions and stainless steel material.
These definitely fill a need, but the quality is not impressive. When I got my first set, there were no wrench flats on the long extension. DI promptly sent me a new set, on the second set the female thread on the long extension was way oversize, very sloppy fit, but still usable. The shorter extension had an oversize male thread, I had to use a re-threading die to get it to work. All said, not impressive quality but they sure come in handy during a detail.
Man where has this been! I've been looking for stainless non metric thread extensions forever!, Endless google searches came up needing to buy ones used in (iirc granite polishing or some such) or metric versions. These are perfect! Especially good for boat detailing where you need to reach around bow rails, in foot rests, around steering, throttles and all kinds of accessories, and fglass storage holes. With pe8 and pe14 they're nice. The previous ones I used (the hex type extensions) would rattle against railings and scratch them if you accidently got to close though wrapping with tape helped some.
This kit is solid Stainless Steel, like it's supposed to be. It stands up to the job. And Detailed Image does a good job, too...a breeze to deal with, good products. All good.
