LC Microfiber pads are great imo. I use a Pad washer but will dry it off more with a microfiber towel after spin dry. Definetly need to clean spent polish and compound out after each section and work smart with how large of a section you do. I usually break a hood into 4 sections and the largest sections I do are probably half roofs. I generally use MF for cutting rather than single stepping since foam can single step anything with good results and finishing with microfiber is nowhere near as easy, but it cuts quick. Microfiber cut and Black foam finish has been working for me well, often using a mk3 15mm
Gummed up period. Not satisfied.
This is a fantastic cutting pad. If it "gums up" on you, you are using too much product and not cleaning it between panels. Because it is microfiber, the fiber will get matted down, but it's still working. Between each panel, wipe the pad with a terry cloth towel and brush the fibers back up.
With this pad, I easily corrected heavily swirled black BMW paint, and it even finished down to a ready finish, using Menzerna 400.
A huge step up from the typical orange foam pad for correction.

Not a fan of this pad. Gummed up after 1/2 a panel and fibers seemed to fall off after cleaning it. Tried different variations and amounts of polish and had no luck, tossing these in the trash.
