Lake Country Force Grey Heavy Cutting Pad Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
We'll slowly be replacing a lot of our older used pads with these as everyone at the shop likes them a lot. They're the typical Lake Country quality and performance, but with added features that take them to the next level.

I thought this would be a good pad like LC CCS. The pad collapsed and sunk in after one use. Very disappointing especially for the price.
Cuts very nice. Lake Country what do you expect. Will continue to buy LC products.
I really like these pads. Great quality and great cutting abilities. So far so good.

Pad came apart on us after first use.
Lake Country are My FAVORITE to use. This FORCE pad was AMAZING. I will continue to use Lake Country pads and I will continue trying ALL their pads.. so Far, this Force pad and the HDO are my favorite! Also, for people doing One step or AIO service, try the LAKE COUNTRY 1 step pad... you will be happy!!
This pad was a lifesaver with a car I used it on last week!
Would I buy again..... Yes, BUT.... only the 1" & 3". they are VERY STIFF pads, think styrofoam, yea... that stiff. The larger sizes do cut well, but are a handful on flat panels. better on convex panels. Concaved panels....forget about it!!!! If you need that much cut, in a large pad, just use microfiber! I have tried on Rupes Mille and GG Boss 21. May be more useable on a short stroke buffer, but I have not tried yet. On the iBrid Nano, The 1" is a dream, better then microfiber. Increased rotation, using more pressure = better/faster results & much more "stable" (if you have used a nano, you know what I am talking about) The shape of the sides really lets you get up close to areas.
These pads are very stiff but it does cut amazing. Used with the flex 3401. Works fine on flat panels but on those that have weird contours and angles it can be difficult to correct those spots but the 3.5 inch pads works in those situations.
Great pad. I only advise that it's for the experienced paint correction Detailing field. I feel it's designed for that purpose. I have great results with it, especially combined with a quality cutting polish. Some cases require a quality compound, which in combination, definitely deliver results. It keeps your polishes or compounds working on the surface, not absorbing into the pad. Keep up the great work on making these pads. And they are manufacturered in the state I live in.

Great pad to use with Flex 3401 and Megs M101. 4 section passes and ready to move. Have one-stepped some production jobs with this combo. Finishes nice enough.
Pad works great for polishing out headlights. Speeds up cutting time. After sanding hitting with grey pad with couple passes has them ready for a polish and sealent.
The pads provide nice cut, but are way too stiff. The stiffness provides a less than average user experience with the 3401.
Very heavy cutting pad - we removed some deep RIDs with one pass on a super lower setting of 2 on a Rupes Mk2. Surface almost feels like 3000 grit sandpaper but finishes down better. Quick pass with polish and most panels would be ready to go.
Wow this thing cuts. This was my first thought when i used it. After a small hood section of 4 passes i wiped compound off & was able to see the scratches i hoped not to wet sand completely gone. Then i looked closer for swirls & the paint was nearly perfect. Would strongly recommend using this pad before wet or dry sanding. I used it with Meguiar's M100 & Wow.
