The Lake Country 100% Twisted Wool Cutting Pad helps you safely and easily remove heavy imperfections in your paint. These wool pads are unsteamed, which offers a few unique characteristics. By steaming wool, the wool strands will bloom from the heat and moisture, which provides it with a fuller, more plush feeling. Unsteamed Wool Pads actually have the wool strands sewn tighter together, which results in more wool in the pad. The more wool, the more cutting power you can achieve! This also provides you with some more blow-off for the first pad use, but after that you will see less for the life of the pad. I had some heavy oxidation on my 25 year old boat. This pad with Koch Chemie compound did a nice job. I would buy it again.
These pads are great. They are a bit smaller then normal sized wool pads that I use but they are perfect size for most jobs. I own a boat repair shop and I only really use wool, as I need to get my sanding marks out after gelcoating and this pad paired with starke level R is amazing!
Big cut fiberglass boat with cutting compound. A must-have when heavy cutting is needed.
