Product Description
The Jescar Heavy Cut Compound will help you remove heavy imperfections safely and easily. When polishing, we always recommend using the least aggressive pad and polish combo possible. However, sometimes you just need a heavy polish that will take care of swirls, scratches, RIDS, oxidation, and other noticeable imperfections in the paint. Heavy Cut Compound uses an advanced formula to take care of imperfections like this, along with P1200 grit sanding marks with ease. It is suitable for all paint systems and fiberglass gel coats. Use it by hand, or via polisher, with wool, or foam pads, it is very versatile and safe. This formula is silicon-free and produces a minimal amount of dusting. This compound will finish down extremely well, however, you may need to follow up with a lighter pad/polish combo to remove any compounding haze. Jescar sent me a sample to test. Heavy cut compound, I had no doubt that this will not disappoint since I had lots of experience with correction compound and got exceptional results.
Let me tell you, I was in for quite a surprise!
This compound is quite gritty, there is "no if, no but no maybe " this compound cuts, and like no other. The finish is one of the best I have experienced. Working on a Toyota Hilux with a beated tail gate, I was able to bring it back to 90% correction with near zero haze which is rarely unheard of when using microfiber.
Jescar Heavy Cut is what I currently use and will continue to use. You can go from Jescar Heavy Cut to Jescar Micro Finishing.
This compound is that good. Well done Jescar and much thanks to DI for bring this to the store !
