Jescar Correcting Compound Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
The Jescar Correcting Compound is another product from Jescar that I was able to test pretty thoroughly on a few different cars. We used it at the shop how we normally use aggressive polishes, which is with a Lake Country Wool Pad. However I also tried it out with an orange foam pad as well as a couple microfiber pads just to see what happens. Overall I enjoyed using Jescar's Compound and it performed really well compared to other products we use.

great product and the only one in my shops. Sold in a 1 gal container even better!
This stuff is ridiculous.
When all else fails, this compound comes through.
I get better cut from Jescar Correcting Compound than compounds with a more aggressive rating. Sort of mind boggling to experience.
Like Andres stated above, I've used a ton of high end compounds - which I love, but this one stands out. I could easily eliminate the others and just use this one.
Low to no dust. Smooth buffing feel, good finishing, easy clean up, and the reason we're here - razor sharp cutting / removal of defects.
An added bonus - no scent. One manufacturer in particular has the most disgusting scents added to their compounds. Even Menzerna 400 is more tolerable. But not Jescar! No added scents, just pure business.
If you're tired of struggling with the various issues of most commercially available compounds, Jescar Correcting Compound eliminates most of not all of those issues.

Jescar Correction compound is my go to for defect removal. The fast correction when pair with microfiber pads is outstanding. It can easily be a one and done product to use on medium to soft paint. Little to no dusting.
Definitely One I recommend.

I recently tried this on a 2016 Subaru (silver), to attack a few areas with severe defects on a customer's door after she scraped against a parking garage pylon. I used Meg's MF Cutting pads on the new Griot's G8 3in buffer, and also Lake Country HDO Orange foam pads on Griot's Boss G15 Long Throw. It removed the defects easily, and some 3000 grit sanding marks. It cuts very well, but what amazed me was how it finished. There were some areas that really didn't even need polish afterwards! (now remember, it was a silver car...on black or dark colors you probably can't get away with that). I'll update once I've used it more and perfected how much polish to use, what speeds, and get results on different colors. So far I'm happy with this product. I will agree with another review, that it does sling a bit, but that's really more a factor of user application than just the product itself. It took me a little while to adjust how much polish - I spread it on the pad versus dabbing as well. Seemed to help a bit with sling. The biggest different I saw using this after using Meg's D300 recently is the finish. D300 cut well, but left more haze than the Jescar.
I have been using this compound for about 3 months now. Primarily with the Rupes wool pads, both coarse and medium cut. This is an excellent compound and does finish down well. Very low dusting, as I do use Megs 101 as well when I need just a little bit more bite. If you are looking to try this out, I'd highly suggest the smaller bottle. It will give you plenty of uses.
Hands down best compound I have ever used. Cuts fast, doesn't dust, wipes off easily and finishes down very far in most paints. After trying this, it will be hard to replace it with anything else.
As a reference, I have tried several compounds including ClearCut, HDCut , M105, TLC, 3M, etc. None of them compare. Highly recommended.

I use a lot of polishes for my small detailing business and this is now my "bread and butter" polish. It has the cut of Menzerna with the easy of clean up of Meguiars (all of which I use). I like products that work and clean up easy and this does both! Only down side is that it slings a little more than most so be careful-take your time when applying as to not throw product everywhere-instead of dabbing product across panel I rub it into the pad and it helps.
Totally buy this again after it runs out. Haven't had the chance to use this on my car. But I have used it on three bathroom quart type counters. All I can say is wow. Used the Surbuf R buffer pads with some rupes polishers.
This is one of the best compounds i've used. I was originally under the assumption that this was just FG400 relabeled. No, not at all. Very low dust. Long working time and great cut. My trial vehicle was a black BMW 6 series. BMW clear is very hard, and this compound teamed with the Rupes LHR15 MKII and megs cutting discs. I was able to remove sever defects surprisingly easy and it finished down great.Very impressed. If you're looking to try a new compound with great cutting ability that's great to use. Don't hesitate.
