The Griot's Garage GR3 Mini Rotary Polisher is a compact, yet powerful rotary polisher that will help you remove imperfections with ease. When polishing, the easy spots are the large open panels where you can easily fit a larger polisher and pad combination. With the GR3, you will not only have a compact body size, but the 700-watt motor and 5/8" rotary-direct-drive shaft provide the power to correct severe paint defects quickly and safely. A constant speed controller and dual-pivot trigger throttle give you more control over the speed in which you are using to remove various imperfections. Increased ergonomics and extensive use of double-shot rubber throughout dampens energy and greatly reduces polishing vibrations. The integrated contaminant protection screen prohibits wool and polishing debris from entering the motor, ensuring optimal operation. Best yet, the included 1", 2", 3" Backing Plates and 2" & 3" Shaft Extensions enable you to reach any nooks, crannies, and difficult to reach body panels. I've used this on 5-6 cars and it now makes a terrible grinding sound when you apply any pressure at all. Hoping to get another one under warranty
It broke the first day I used it. Went to change backing plate and lock button broke.
