The Griot's Garage G8 Orbital Extension Backing Plate 1" helps you reach tight areas with a polisher easier than ever before! Sometimes when you are polishing, you hit a tight area that your rotary polisher cannot fit into safely. With this product, you will have not only an extension to help you reach these areas safely and easily, but a 1" backing plate attached to the end of the extension itself. This extension is crafted from CNC machined aluminum and integrated into a weight matched plate, which complements the Griot's Garage G8 counterbalance for ultra-smooth operation. The flexible German urethane composition allows this backing plate to contour to the surface, reaching almost any area you are looking to polish. The extension will accompany an upgraded oversized shroud, requiring user to replace.

I do not recommend at all! Complete junk I waisted my hard earned money on this junk. Today was the 1st time I used it by the time I changed my third pad the Velcro on the backing plate fell off! Complete garbage!
