Flex PE 8 Kompakt Rotary Polisher Reviews

I purchased this years ago to use 1" pads on. I already had a Rupes 3" DA. But that just doesn't have enough power, so I purchased another one of these. Plenty of power and does exactly what I need it to do.

This machine is small but packs enough power to cut and finish. I used it with a 5"backing plate and it delivers all the power that it's needed for.

This is a a very nice tool. It is plenty powerful, but at first I was a little disappointed because it is still not super light. (4.2lbs) The Griots rotary unit is lighter but not as powerful. I do wish it had a trigger instead of a switch on the side. If i had to make the choice again, I would probably buy the Griots G13 which weighs 3.15 pounds and has a trigger style switch. The Flex build quality is excellent, and I enjoy working with it.

This is a great addition to my larger Flex unit.. Great quality!!
