DI Microfiber Car Wash Mitt Reviews
Customer Reviews
Bought to clean behind wheel spokes rather than bending my EZ Detail Speed Brush (Jr).
Cons:
1. Pre-washed, used once, washed…1.5" hole in seam starting 1.5" below cuff. (Washed in a front-load washing machine.)
2. Mitt could use a little more thickness. Fairly thin as currently manufactured.
Pro: Allows you to naturally wrap your fingers around the wheel spokes to clean behind them, provided there are not too many spokes as in my case.

Love this for my ceramic coated wheels. Does a great job without being too aggressive on the coating.
Hey nice little mitt, I will have to great more of these. Had to try it first and it a score, very versatile, cost effective, durability. We will see...Also thanks to D.I. for the lightning quality service.....
Much too thin for a body wash mitt. Not really plush enough for rims, either. Like a very thin microfiber (?250 GSM?) cloth with a cuff. Not a fan.
I like these little mits. They come in handy while working on wheels. The thickness of a normal 300-350 gam towel with a cuff. I like designated towels for designated jobs this is the one in my wheel bucket for reaching around spokes and inside the barrels of the wheels.
Cool little mitt. Bought 2. I used one to finish the under hood detailing on the Mercedes this last weekend and it was all smiles. Wish they were just a little bit thicker though.
Nice mitt, I specifically use these in my wheel bucket to allow me to clean intricate wheels faster. The mitt is not very thick, it is basically like wrapping your hand in a standard microfiber towel.
Super thin. Doesn't hold soap that well. Would be best just for rims. Buy something thicker for the car
Threw it away when I opened the package!
This is not the type of mitt I would use on the body of the vehicle. I instead use this for the wheels. Its not very thick (plush) but it holds enough soap and water to keep the surfaced lubed for cleaning. I like to use this for the face of the wheel and to grab the areas behind the faces of the spokes. It has not stained my hands black and it has not torn on my yet. I have used this on 4 sets of wheels already and it still has held up. It works great for my use of it so I think this would be ideal for wheels and low areas of the vehicle.
Pros:
Price, color coded black (I know not to use this black one on the body), useful for wheels
Cons:
Not ideal for cleaning the body of the vehicle

I would not buy this again for what I wanted to use it for. It is not fluffy enough to hold much soap. It is good for maybe for tight areas on wheels. Bonus is that it is black.
Waste of money ripped after first use
Waste of money
I have been using this mitt specifically to do rinseless / waterless wash of my wheels, and am happy with it for that purpose. I don't think it's fluffy or big enough to be an all-purpose wash medium, but for the price it's a great tool for specific messy jobs, particularly those jobs that are hard in hard to reach places. I found it much easier and faster to clean in between wheel spokes with this mitt than with a regular MF towel.
Would buy if on sale, not plush enough to hold much soap/water but would be great for cleaning wheels or for use with ONR
I use this mitt for cleaning the backs of my wheel spokes. The material is good enough that I don't worry about marring on the wheels if I rub up against the finished area, and they are small enough that I can reach between the spokes and brakes with ease. Quality seems pretty decent, will see how long they hold up with somewhat minimal, but grimy, use.
You would be doing the same thing just putting a microfiber towel in your bucket, that's literally all this is.
If these go on sale, they'd be good for dedicated wheel cleaning. Other than that, it's nothing special. It's not plush enough in my opinion to use as a wash mit, but it'll make a good special-use tool if you buy one or get one for free on one of their great offers.
Unfortunately, I used this mitt once last week and after washing, the seam totally fell apart around the cuff.
Like I said before...it's a smaller microfiber mitt. You probably won't wash your entire car with it..but you can wipe off dust on your car or dirt from your rims. It is what it is. It's a Mitt made out of microfiber. It's not big..not too small..it's thin and it cleans. Enough said.
Haven't used it yet but as soon as I pulled it out of the box I was disappointed with how chintzy it seemed. Not at all fluffy.
Haven't had a chance to use this product because I have been using the sheepskin wash mitt (I LOVE IT). Seems super soft and from other reviews it looks like its a great product. I have quiet a few of these so I plan on using one or two while I clean my wheels because it is black. Look forward to using these mitts.
I put my hand in it, washed my car with it, it did the trick. It's microfiber that covers your entire hand. I'd buy this again.
These are great little wash mitts. It is a smaller mitt with thinner fabric, which makes it great for tight spaces, etc. I've been using these primarily for wheels and they've been brilliant thus far.
this little jewel is great for trim
I've found the perfect use for this product...I use this mitt to wipe the brake dust from my wheels between washings! For a quick wheel detail, there's nothing better to get into all of the nooks & crannies!
This a small mitt that is useful for washing wheels and door jambs. It measures 7" W x 8"L, so it is not suitable as a wash mitt for the rest of the car because it does not cover much surface area or hold as much suds due to its small size.
I find this mitt is best for a gloss QD or Opti Spray wax application. I wear it over a Nitrile Glove on my left hand, spray the Opti spray wax with my right on the section, and buff out with a higher loft MF towel in my right hand. This way I am only changing out the bottle for the MF towel, speeds up the process. I use the Sheepskin or Chenille wash mitts for paint washing.
This wash mitt has it all. You've got the ease of use that a mitt affords; and at the same time, all the benefits of microfiber material. The mitt's cuff if tight enough to repel water, but not so snug as to be uncomfortable. If you don't have a similar mitt yet, treat yourself to one of these puppies. You'll be glad you did!
