DI Microfiber Applicator Pad Reviews
Customer Reviews
These pads are really nice. I bought them to apply Collinite 100 and they do a very nice job with that. I do wish the foam inside was a bit more firm
Easy to use and easy to clean. My only complaint is that it seems to pick up and hold leaves and such easily and it's very difficult to get out of the fibers.
Great pad! Haven't dropped it yet and it cleans easily
Great for applying like the Chemical Guys HydroSlick works awesome and I see people say they only get 2-3 uses out of them because they come apart , well obviously you're not cleaning them right! I love them for the price you can't beat it!!
I like the feel of the microfiber covering the sponge. I find after most of the wax I use is no longer on the surface I can squeeze the sponge and replenish the surface.
I do like the material it is made out of but it's way smaller than I originally thought it was gonna be . After a couple uses it's not holding up to well.
This product is your standard microfiber applicator sponge -- microfiber on the outside, sponge on the inside, with no rough edges, seams, or tags. It met my expectations with no surprises, so you can probably feel confident in your purchase if that's what you're looking for. It's not particularly plush, nor is it too sparing of a microfiber weave/blend. It's a decent product that fits the requirement.
Even with a light hand, these microfiber sponges tend to compress over time, so I had to spend a few extra seconds allowing it to re-expand. At the end of the day, if I folded over a smaller microfiber towel a few times and used the same light hand, I would get the same effect as the sponge with a similar amount of effort; you might not even need to purchase one in that regard.
Some folks like microfiber applicator sponges and feel like they more evenly apply waxes/sealants. I tend to prefer foam applicator pads since I get more control, though sometimes that means I have to go back to the bottle a few more times for additional goop. Just something to think about when making your purchase.

Good quality, and great for use with ceramic coating applications, purchased a few and will buy more.
This is identical to my previous pad that I have had for years. Hope this lasts as long. As someone else noted, it does absorb a lot of product, but it is easy to use and works very well with paste wax. I dampen it with a little distilled water before use.
Pad is easy to grip and makes waxing a lot easier. Also, use one to clean windows - I wrap my window polishing cloth around the pad to get better coverage.
Very impressed with how soft these pads are. The nap of the microfiber is very thick and allows for waxes and polishes to be applied smoothly and evenly. These are definitely on the "reorder" list when I need to replace them. Great product.
I really like how soft these pads are and I did not feel that I would ever scratch my car while using them. However, I have noticed that I end up using a ton more Wax because they absorb a lot of it. A few wax companies told me not to use them, stick with foam. I would continue to use them, even after knowing that they cause me to use more wax, but cleaning them is...well..useless. I tried soaking them using the proper agents for days and they still never get rid of that waxy feel. I will use foam pads from now on.
Great looking pad. But its durability isn't great. I use them for apply exterior dressing and interior vinyl dressing and all three pads I bought have torn at the seems after 4-6 details.
I ordered just one to try it out. Works beautifully, nice size, good quality.
My favorite microfiber applicator. Fits perfectly in my hand. Great price. Holds up well after cleaning. I can't be without these. DI has reasonable price.
I've used these pads for applying Blacklight and Jetseal. They are the perfect size for my hand, are soft, and spread the product easily. The best hand application tool I've found.

Real handy, perfect size and better than using a towel.... but you only get one, maybe two uses out of them. Mine have been washed a couple times now without falling apart, but they are flat now.
Saw a few videos of people using these. I wanted to give it a try. I liked how it fit in your hand. You can spread your product on your car with ease. I didn't really use a lot of pressure so I didn't ruin the applicator. I hand washed it in the sink with some water and a little soap. I dried it and it looks just as new. These can last a while if you take care of them after use.
As far as applacation, they work fine. I ordered 3 and my wife has sewn all three back together after washing.
These work great for me. Very comfortable to hold and use. Also easy to clean. You can use these for a variety of products.
Easy to grab and use, but requires a lot of product due to how much the pad can absorb. I went back to the yellow pads which are hard to hold on to.
Really nice applicator! I was used to the thin microfiber applicators that are hard to handle, and this pad is a blessing. It's easy to handle and applies anything like it's warm butter.
Purchased a few of these, but have only used one so far. Afraid to use the other applicator pads, as the first one came apart in the washing machine. I guess I could sew it back together, but don't feel you should have to. Very easy to grip and applied sealant nicely, but if you can only get 1-2 uses out of these they are not worth the price.
Very nice pad for applying sealants. Fits nicely in the hand. Can turn it over so you have two sides to use. Easy to control during use. Good price for what you get.
Great all around pads. I just bought another next set.
Used these pads to apply a 3 levels - chemical cleaner, and 2 sealants. This is the best applicator I've used. Perfect size fits nicely in your hand, thickness and bite of the mf is the perfect length and density. And the price? For me, these are a perfect solution. Recommended.
Havent used it but couldnt go wrong with the price. Feel is great, cant wait to use it!
