DI Brushes Boar's Hair Detailing Brush Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
The DI Boar's Hair Brush is a staple in my detailing arsenal, I have three. One of these brushes is delegated for interior work, the second is for wheels, and the final one I use on trim and emblems.
All in all, the DI Boar's Hair Detailing Brush is one of those must-have tools because it can be used for various tasks and does a great job each and every time. Highly recommended!

Purchased two of these brushes and they started losing hair as soon as they came out of the box. Was hoping the hairs would stop departing the ferrule as we broke them in. They continued to lose hair every time they touched any surface. Have given up on these brushes and thrown them away. They just left black hairs all over the interiors which created more work for us. Maybe this was a bad batch or something.
Man this is a great brush...if only it lasted more than a couple weeks.
This is my 3rd brush and all 3 have fallen apart. The brush head literally cracks off the handle every single time. I'm not rough with these. I use them for door jambs, lugs, and calipers. I don't throw them around but man after only a couple weeks they start cracking. This last one started cracking so I thought hey ill just tape it to try and hold it together longer. It did seem to help....it didn't slowly get worse....unfortunately it completely broke all at once cleaning a lug nut. I have no idea whats going on. I don't know if they aren't drying out and that causing the plastic to have issues or what but they fail the exact same way. They really are the perfect brush but they just fail and I can't accept that for a $20 brush. Have to go with another brand. If you aren't a pro and only use this sparingly it may be great for you. For me doing 1 or more cars daily I was really disappointed. Was hoping I could upload a picture.

Bought one of these 2 years ago and I still use it to this day! I only bought a few others out of fear of losing or forgetting them in my shop! It's a must have in your detail arsenal!
The price for each brush is steep, but you get a quality brush. Unlike when shopping for a deal you can find false advertising or a poorly put together brush. This brush is not that. The handle has a nice feel so the worry of slipping/dropping is not there. The brush is actually a boar's hair brush so it is soft. Practical uses are endless, just make sure you have dedicated brushes for each major use. The brush does shed a little, but you will lose a few strands with any boars hair brush. The shedding present with this brush is not alarming or indicative of bad quality.
The only negative I have for this brush is the price. It is expensive for what it is. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that cleans their exterior and interiors.

Soft and good for interior but sheds a lot with minimal pressure.
Good brush!
Good brush, I needed a stiffer brush, so I cut the brush length down to just over half. Works exactly like I wanted.
This brush is amazing... it's too bad that it physically smells. It is soft but strong enough for any job, I would buy again.
Good Quality brush. i use it as a wheel lug brush. it shedded alot during the first few uses but it hasnt been shedding much as of late. i do tend to use my tools a little more aggressive than others. but all and all its a great tool
This is high quality product. It's very helpful to have one for your car detailing.
I ordered this brush as a backup for my lugnut brush, but I wound up designating it for interior use! It is a great brush to use for agitating a foaming interior cleaner into leather seats and plastic pieces. A few hairs have come out but that is to be expected when you're agitating a surface. Two thumbs up to DI!
Use on wheel lug nuts because it is soft enough for even expensive wheels and does a great job.
Really pleased with this brush to agitate tight areas. I already had two of the 1" models and felt that I needed something a little bigger to get more coverage in certain areas. The 1" has held to the abuse for over a year now and after the first uses with the 1.25" it seems to be on par. The ergonomic shaped handles feels good in my hands to keep my grip soft so no problems with them cramping up. I would recommend this brush to anyone interested in adding this to their arsenal.
I like the brush. Only thing is I'm losing some of my fibers. Not sure mine is defective. But I still like how versatile it is.
Like the brush, but the bristles fall out way too easy.
This is an excellent brush. I use it all around the exterior and door jambs. This brush, APC and compressed air is the perfect combination for door jambs. It's very durable. I've used it everyday for over a year and it has just started shedding.
I put off buying one of these because they seemed a bit pricey. After I used it once I knew that I will never go back to any other brush for general wheel agitation. It makes cleaning the wheel crevices and lug nuts easy and quick. The bristles are firm enough to agitate the dirt, but definitely soft. Money well spent and I would highly recommend this brush. The 1.25" seems to be a great size for most spaces. Some of the bristles came out upon first use, but I assume that could be normal upon first time use.
It is a good brush. I've used it to clean my leather seats, and it's done the job very well. The only downfall is that the bristles fall out to easily. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent brush.
Love the brush and only wish I would have purchased more than one. I use it for everything on a car when fine detailing.
Good brush. Hairs fall out a bit easy and they aren't super stiff. I tend to use it for dirty areas.
This brush is perfect for any cleaning application your desire. I purchased two of them and marked them to designate for one for interior and exterior use and very pleased. The price initially seemed a bit steep but could instantly tell this was a quality brush as soon as I opened it out of its packaging. Once I used the first time it was well worth what I paid. Hasn't shed one hair from the brush since I purchased them and I use every time I wash my vehicle. Highly recommended!
Descent brush but the hairs fall out too much.
The first brush I ordered came apart, but DI came through and got me a new one as it was just a few days after i got it that it came unglued. About a dozen uses after, the new brush has the brissels fallings off as hair on a german sheppard..Can't use it for interior carpeting any more but cleaning the wheels will work.
Good Brush for Wheel Lug Cleaning - Fits perfectly in the lug holes
Super nice. High quality feel. Works great. Holds up well to chemicals. It has a nice feel and well balanced.
Pleased with the overall quality of this but I had issues with brissels falling out. Don't get me wrong the brush is super soft and great for emblems and motor bays. Defiantly get both brushes though cause you can't go wrong with a big and small. I personally will not buy this product again due to the hairs coming out.
Buying this product was a stretch for me since I struggling spending on brushes which I feel should be cheap because they are simple and just a workhorse. Well, I couldn't be happier that I spent on this. It is a superb product and I use it every wash and it has made my routine more effective and efficient. I like getting better results in less time and this is the product I have to thank for that.
I liked this product so much I ordered the interior brush so I would have one dedicated to interior and one to exterior.

I use this brush to clean inside my lug nuts and my rear bumper since it has mesh on it. Works good so far.
I was very pleased with how this brush could get into small areas and get them clean. It's held up very well, only losing a couple bristles after repeated use. I plan to pick up a few more when they go back on sale.
I bought two of these and will most defiantly be buying more in the future I have add it for a few months and used it very often. It still looks new and is very well build. The epoxy is extremely secure. I have one for interior and one for exterior. DI doesn't carry stuff unless it screams quality.
Really nice, high quality brush. You couldn't pull the fibers out if you tried. I'm going to order a couple more so I have one for multiple jobs.
So far so good, used this probably 7-8x now and it worked great every time. Hasn't lost any fibers yet and seems to hold up well to a number of different uses. I will be buying a couple more for sure. Haven't used a SV brush so can't compare, but I'm not tempted to try anything else.
One thing it is not for is wheels/brake dust, but that's fairly obvious as its got very soft fibers.
