This is a very useful product, doesn't take up much room, and is below $3. Whether you're taking off an old registration, removing a vinyl decal, doing some fine trim work, or scraping up some crud, this little dude is just the right tool for the job.

It's small enough to keep in a glove compartment and is very maneuverable in tight spaces, unlike larger blade-holders that are a pain to use in windshield/dashboard corners. Just remember to keep a sharp blade handy to maximize your effort.

Buy a dozen. I use them with regular and plastic blades. They hold a blade well enough, reverse blade to protect the edge and you. With a bunch of them stashed in different tool boxes/bags I never have to go far to get one and if you loose it, no worries, they are inexpensive and easily replaced.
