DI Accessories Medium Grade Clay Bar Reviews
Customer Reviews
I'm a relatively new car care enthusiast and I have used these medium grade clay bars on several occasions not only on cars but also the windows in my house. It really did the job on removing the hardwater marks that were on the windows and with little effort. I have Parkinson's disease so in this case, my shaky hand came in, well, handy.
It's OK, harder to form than other clays.
For the price it performed as expected.
Its okay. Not the best clay bar I have used but works as intended. Clay is very stiff and slimy when removed from original package making it hard to form a nice clay patty and making it a mess when trying to form. Leaves clay residue over car as well.
I've purchased 4 bars (200g) of this medium clay and I finally. I threw 2½ bars away experiencing the same results as the DI fine clay. I exclusively use Dodo juice lube with claying. Pros: Reasonably priced. Cons: Very stiff clay, hard to form into a workable disc to begin application. The clay will typically break down at about ½ to ¾ through completion of a mid-sized vehicle leaving pieces of clay all over the finish. Leaves a clay film which can be hard to remove without an additional washing prior to polishing.
While I was able to obtain the results I wanted the additional time, effort, and increased product consumption makes this product a very poor choice for your claying needs.

This clay bar was hard as a rock was not enjoyable to work with. I will not be using this product again.
Worst clay I've ever bought. Incredibly hard, mars like crazy, I'm very disappointed. Threw out $40 bucks worth.
This clay bar works great at removing heaver contaminates in a timely manner. It is slightly tougher to mold and shape, however I do not find it to be troublesome. This is a great clay bar!
Hardest clay I've seen. Crumbled and was about useless. Old stock or just a bad formula?
I thought my car was pretty clean until I used this clay bar. Definitely recommend. Removed a ton of contamination. Pretty tough to mold but with a little time and warmth it wasn't a big issue.
This is the least enjoyable detailing product I've used. As other's have said, it's hard as a rock and in yesterday's chilly weather it was useless. I had to get out an old McGuire's OTC claybar to finish up a customer's car. I spent the big bucks and bought some more Claymagic from here last night.
Great clay for those hard jobs that have been racking up grit and industrial fall out. 200g isn't enough just kidding this bar is huge and i've used it with several jobs and have some left over.
This bar was terrible. It was so hard that no matter how hot I got it, I could not mold it into a usable shape. On top of that, it started disintegrating when I used it and left clay residue all over the car. I have used the fine grade Clay Magic bars for years and have never had a problem like this. I understand this is a medium grade bar, but it was simply unusable. I'm going back to Clay Magic and I'm not looking back.
This clay bar is the real deal it works on almost anything. I used it on a clients Time Attack car that has been neglected for roughly 8-12 months. However be preparred to polish the marring out. I swear this took at least 1 hour off my claying time comparred to other softer grades I have.
