Customer Reviews
I have always used these applicators for waxes and sealants.

This applicator has been downgraded to just dressing the tires. I found that using a liquid wax was terrible with this as it absorbed most of the wax and it felt like I was using to much pressure to squeeze it out of the pad and into the paint. I'll just use this for leveling and massaging dressings onto tires.
Bought 3 of these foam applicators have used 1 several times on different vehicles Performs very well I suggest after waxing a car just to rinse it out they seem to wear good after I'm finished I place the pad in a plastic bag
I use these for my tire applicator and works better than anything else I've tried, I've tried a lot of different things, at my shop we do 10-15 cars a week so yea I'd say they get used a lot .
Is of high quality I anticipate many years of use. This is for home use 3 cars a boat trailer & I am a fanatic about keeping my tools clean
Good applicator works like it is supposed to.
Have found many uses for these applicators and for the price you can't go wrong, both interior and exterior uses and nice quality too.
better than some I have bought from a store, used them for waxing.
What you see is exactly what you get, this is a simple foam applicator pad. It works as you would expect and the durability seems to be very good. I have about a dozen of these pads and have washed them maybe a dozen times as well, and they're holding up great!
What can I say its a pad, I use it to apply PERL to my tires. Seems to holdup well to being drug around my tires.
If you're looking for a low-cost, one to three use applicator, this might be just the product for you. It certainly meets a requirement and gets the job done, but compared to some of the other applicators out there, I would stay away from it. I said that I wouldn't buy these again, but only because there are better-quality foam applicators out there for only a few cents more. In my opinion, if you're going to put a coat of product on your car, why skimp on something like this?
As others have already said, this is a perfect wax or glaze applicator. I have also found it good for hand-polishing out small scratches when a DA polisher is just a bit of overkill. I was getting some micro scratches with a microfiber applicator. Switching to the foam applicator gave me a perfect result.
Great for any use of wax or sealant. I never reuse applicators, I have a black vehicle. It is not worth risking micro marring.
Great to apply a sealant, wax and leather care product. I have not tried tire dressing, as it seems a little weak, but I will try it out as these things are disposable. I wash them and they hold for a good amount of time.
Compared to the microfiber ones sold in stores like Target or Walmart, these are much better at spreading a thin, even layer. The only thing I wish they didn't do was absorb the product - not that they absorb much, just enough that if I don't want to keep adding more product, I need to press harder to get it to come out.
Works well, absorbs less product than some others I've used. My "go to" applicator now.
My go to pads!!!!!
Perfect wax or glaze applicator. Slightly larger and more dense than others I have purchased. Wash out well, just let it air dry. I keep 4-5 on hand. A definite buy.

This applicator is similar to those that are supplied by Meguiars and the like. It's great for the money and is probably exactly what you expect.
One Foam Pad to rule them all, One Foam Pad to find them,
One Foam to bring them all and in the darkness wax them
One Foam to bring them all and in the darkness wax them
I used this to apply Blackfire Wet Diamond. Perfect media for the application.
These applicator pads do a great job of spreading product evenly. I usually prime them with a very light mist of M44 or S&W from Poorboys, They hold up very well. I like to re-order them occasionaly just to give the other ones a break. I toss them in the washer and let them air dry and they usually come out pretty close to new.
These are affordable and my favorite for applying a wax top coat. They are flexible enough to work into small areas like under the door handles and around the door jambs. I bought a few and I like them a lot.
Exactly what Jack said. I prefer these over the MF pads. These should be a staple in any arsenal.
Used this with a 22PLE application and it sucked up a ton of product. Probably not the best for 22PLE.
Good size and price. Much better than anything available locally. Works for wax application and polish. Difficult to clean, but aren't all sponges? And if you can't clean it, just buy more at this great price!
I find that these foam applicators are much easier to spread product than the microfiber ones. They absorb less of the product as well.
Typical microfiber applicator pad. I will purchase again.
Lightweight and very effective in applying an even coat of interior plastic (dashboard) cleaner. Rinses out well and dries very fast.
I would not buy this again for the intended purpose of 22PLE. I would recommend the Red applicators for final application. Other than that, have not used them much for anything else yet.
Inexpensive and effective. Applies a thin coat easily. Good stuff.
I buy a handful of these with each of my orders. They are great to have around. I most recently used one to apply 22ple and it worked flawlessly. Soft and safe on paint.
Buy a few! I like to dedicate an applicator to each product I use, so I don't ever switch up, even after cleaning. These are cheap and good- I bought 3 last time and should have doubled that....
Nothing too exciting here - an example of a perfect applicator. Works like a charm and, as others have mentioned, you really can't have enough on the shelf....buy without hesitation.
I just used this foam applicator to apply wax this weekend. Works great. I've always used these, but they aren't always easy to find locally.
Cheap and top of the line. It's only an applicator, but can you ever have too many?
great pad and cheap enough to have one for every product i use
Great for applying products by hand. Cheap and easy to use.
Good pad, cheap price.
I have always used microfiber applicators, but after all the support of the foam applicators I pulled the trigger. I will never look back, the max is applied very nicely and the yellow's are a great size.
Nice size, good quality, reusable.
I'm use this to apply sealant or wax. The quality pretty good so buy extra as the price not bad at all.

I like these small, round, foam, yellow pads as they are easy to use, and don't absorb too much prouduct. I get many uses out of a single yellow foam pad, as I spray it with a strong spray of medium/hot water.
I've always used foam or terry cloth pad applicators. I prefer the foam applicators and the ones DI has fit the bill and are inexpensive. Just bought 6 to keep around for applying various products.
Requires a bit of product saturation to get started but otherwise a great pad. I always keep a good number on hand.
Great pad that doesn't absorb a lot of product and there very durable.
Great little yellow pad I like to use it for applying sealant & waxes to wheels and windows. I would buy it again in my next shipment!! Thanks D.I. A+++
Perfect for applying waxes/sealants. If you wash right after use, you should be able to use these a few times. Will have to add more on my next order.
Great price for a really nice applicator. I don't feel guilty if I switch them out after a few uses. I did use microfiber, but like these better.
These pads are perfect for applying waxes; distributes product evenly and precisely. Just a light spritz prior to applying product, and you're good to go! I typically get about 3-4 uses out of each pad.

Used a yellow and white pad to do my 37' motorhome and car. Pads have held up very well and after at least 8 hours of use of each, they work as well as when I took them out of the packaging.

I also prefer these foam pads to the other types on the market. To me, they are easier to work with than the cotton or microfiber pads & the price is pretty good. They are easy to wash and for me, each pad is good for about 3 to 5 uses.

Great bulk discount. Seem to be very good quality applicators. Thanks again DI!

I tend to prefer these yellow foam applicators over the typical cotton and microfiber ones as they spread product more evenly and thinner. Plus, they don't flatten out like the cotton ones.
