CarPro Reset Intensive Car Shampoo Reviews
Customer Reviews
Came highly recommended to me by a professional detailer and he was bang on. Great results on my coated car. No regrets, will definitely be using this exclusively!
Great shampoo. Can tell a difference when I run out of this stuff.
Third bottle bought. Perfect shampoo for coated vehicles.
Second bottle. Like everyone has already said, best shampoo for coated cars and trucks. Used in conjunction with Descale, unclogs and cleans coatings and rejuvenates the protection on your vehicle.
Two words...........game changer! Have tried 4 or 5 other Ceramic wash products, pricey but the best!
Great soap. Cleans well, great lubricity, and to me the smell is a mild fresh scent that I find pleasant to work with.
Best soap on the market for coated vehicles. A lil goes a long way as well.
My favorite ph neutral shampoo. Great at everything it should be great at. Used p&s pearl for years but got tired of how much of it was needed and found myself refilling my 32 oz dual neck container from the gallon container. Prefer the higher concentration of reset and in the end they both cost about the same when you figure for dilution ratios. Additionally reset seems to hold up well in a "used" bucket so I don't have to keep dumping and start again after every wash. Just add pinch of reset and you'll get all the suds and lather back.
I echo the sentiments of the majority of reviewers here -- CarPro Reset just plain works. The guy who detailed and ceramic coated our Audi S4 recommended it and after using competitors products, have gone back to CarPro for its quality and ease of use.
For cleaning ceramic coatings this is the one to use. Does what it says.
I've been using reset for a few years since i started doing ceramic coatings. It has plenty of cleaning ability and just works well
Great wash, just got my second bottle. No need for any other wash.
When it comes to using a foam cannon, this is by far the best soap I have found on the market! Foams up nicely and gives the lubrication that I need.
Long term review. I've been using this soap for years now and that's because it delivers on the claims and knocked my previous favorite soap down to 2nd place (though I still use that soap as well, which is Megs Hyperwash because it's very cheap, and like Reset it's highly concentrated, cleans well, and has no gloss enhancers or anything that would leave residue or clog coatings or sealants). Anyway, Reset has it beat, as it provides better lubricity, more suds and in my experience, more cleaning power. Yes, it's more expensive, but you don't really have to use 5 gallons of water in your bucket now do you? I easily wash my car (with excellent results and not leaving swirls behind) by using 2 gallons of water which allows me to use less soap and make it last twice as long with the same excellent results. The soap is very easy to rinse off quickly and it cuts through dirt without having to resort to highly alkaline, harsh cleaners. This is the best soap in the market at the moment in my opinion, specially for coated cars and I highly recommend it.
Reset foams well, is slick to the touch, is a great cleaner, and best of all rinses free and doesn't leave residue behind! No nonsense cleaning and rinsing. That's why this soap is my favorite. The performance gets you excited, not the color of your foam cannon or the artificial fruit smells from other soaps.

This soap works amazing. Foams great. Smells great. Brought back the hydrophobicity of my ceramic coating! Should've bought more
A little bit goes a long way! I can put 50ml of product in 850ml of water in a foam cannon and get around the car with some to spare. The cleaning power is top notch for your coated vehicle. It will cause some surface rust on your steel rotors.
I like this product, the negative I found is the rust on my brake rotors after letting the vehicle sit after a was. I have to drive the vehicle around the block after a wash to prevent the rust from forming due to the PH level of the soap.
I love this shampoo for my opti-coat coated car. It really does seem to reset the coating hydrophobic properties.
I just finished a bottle of P21S (my staple for a while) and did a fair amount of research before buying this soap, and I can happily report it is worthy of praise! Firstly this produces a lot of suds, as the dilution ratio is 500:1, so just filling half of my 5 gallon bucket and 1 oz. of product produced intense foam. Secondly, it's smooth and clings onto the surface. Lastly, it rinses well and smells very neutral (I'm used to the nice apple smell of P21S LOL).
Gyeon bathe is still a top notch sosp... but I find myself reaching for reset more recently. It has a enticing smell and it foams very well. It always seems to declog a coating and return the hydrophobics even on ceramic sealants like wetcoat and reload. Overall very impressive and trusted on all exotic cars and recommended to our customers for at home use. Gyeon Bathe us still notable. Id honestly recommend buying both for variety and maybe you will like one better. Both great but currently I use reset more
Very nice job foaming up and carrying away the dirt from my 2020 Ram Power Wagon. Leaves a nice clean finish.
I will definitely order more of this when it's time. I have used other products from certain stores I thought would be a high quality shampoo/soap. The reset actually gets soapy and seems to clean quite well. You don't need a lot, and there is no residue left behind.
Used it only once so far and it worked really great! Love that only need small amount each time so it should last me a long time.
great shampoo! worth the investment for car wash with coatings or not! A product that can not miss
I love this shampoo. No unwanted stuff and excellent cleaning ability.
Best soap I've used. No wax or residue left behind, no smell, no extra junk so it's great for ceramic coated vehicles. It's a great cleaning, great foaming and great lubricity soap that is concentrated to only need one once for 4-5 gallon bucket. This makes the slightly higher price even out some to compare in price with other cheaper soaps. Best cleaning I've gotten out of a car soap that won't strip any LSP.
Recently had a cx-9 in red ceramic coated with the 3.0 UK. Bought this soap as it is complimentary. Was easy to use and cleaned well. Ran it through a sunjoe 3200 and foamed well. Then did a two bucket wash and got a ton of suds. Will buy again as we want to maintain our coating as much as we can.
This product works well.
Only used once, wasn't bad.
Recommended by my IGL Ceramic coating expert, this product does not disappoint. Great foaming and sickness while washing. Rinses quickly and completely. Bought the largest size and got lucky to catch a sale and will be good for a long time to come.
Simply one of the best soaps on the market. I have used many many different types. Yes it's expensive, but there are literally no cons in my book. Great rinseability with zero residue left behind, slickness is good, great cleaning power, and foaming is good even though it's not designed for that application. Catch a gallon on sale are your set.
I've been using a different pH balanced soap that worked well but after awhile the car appeared dull with little shine. This shampoo, being designed for coated vehicles, doesn't do that. It seems to clean better yet is pH balanced and not hard on the coating. Not unpleasant smell either.
This soap is made by a solid company and produces the results to keep your coated cars finish the best it can be. It does one thing, clean your car, no shine or gloss enhancers here, just CLEAN! When you follow the directions and make up a bucket of soap and begin to wash your car you will be able to FEEL the difference straight away, this builds confidence in the product and gives you the feeling that your car is going to look the best it can look and maintain the coated surface. I'm sure this product will work equally well on non-coated surface too.
Buy and use with confidence!

So I recently won a $25.00 gift certificate through Detailed Image, thank you for that, and decided to buy a couple things, one was the CarPro Reset soap.
Per the directions or says 1.35 oz for 5 gallons of water, I ended up going with 1 oz for about 3 gallons, a bit stronger but that's ok. I will say this soap sud'd up great and has a familiar smell but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Finally there's the washing...very sudsy and VERY slick feeling. Once I was done washing it I rinsed it down and it had a very clean, nice sharp, crisp look to my cars coated finish.
I have used CarPro Echo in the past and still do infact and it is the GOLD STANDARD when doing waterless/rinseless washes, CarPro has the slickness down pat in their cleaning products, Reset is an absolute winner!

I have two different soaps and I use this one for my ceramic coated cars. A little gives plenty of suds and lubrication so you can get away with a smaller bottle depending on how often you wash.
The second tier of my washing begins with CarPro reset intensive shampoo.
Great applicator. Given it's simply cut from layers of material, it does have a tendency to occasionally catch I suspect on the upper portion of the sides as you're using it ... to fly out of your 2-3 fingers that were gripping onto it's edges. This applicator is also a bit thick, which makes it easier to perhaps grip, it makes it near impossible to cover areas such as those directly under side mirrors and other similar overhangs you may have on your front or rear end that are tighter than the thickness of this applicator.
I'll continue to use this for most applications as I have several spares, but the combination of the smaller Carpro applicator (which is lower profile and twice as long) and a CarPro Suede 4x4 microfiber cloth will likely become my long-term alternative. Besides a better profile that allows you to reach nearly any area you need to coat, the smaller Carpro applicator can be used many times and the cost of the disposable 4x4 suede microfiber makes this a better price-performing combo especially when you buy them in lots of 10.

My new favorite shampoo. A little goes a long way. Plenty of suds that hang around a lot longer than other choices do.
I used this on my cquartz coated jeep srt. Works great in my foam cannon and rinsed clean. Highly recommended for coated vehicles.
The only soap I use on cars that have been coated. Never leaves behind any residue, and offers great cleaning power. It also produces a surprising amount of foam when put in a lance or cannon.
Really works well in my foam cannon, however I notice if I use this and then it rains it makes my wipers chatter really bad. If I use the Gtechniq wash the next week and it happens to rain no chatter. I've done this back and forth enough to narrow it down to this soap. It does clean well, but it must be leaving something behind to cause that.
Smells good, rinses easy, cleans well, and has a high dilution. This soap works awesome in the foam cannon vs other soaps when using twice as much product.
Good shampoo. Works well with coatings and sealants. It won't have the most suds but it sure cleans well. It works ok in a foam gun. For those looking for a shampoo that leaves nothing behind then this is one to consider.
Great soap with great lubricity and cleaning power, also with 16 oz bottle a little goes a long way used with foam cannon and two bucket wash doesn't even look like I've used the bottle yet the suds aren't super great but for what soap is it works really good also noted my vehicle is a coated with cquartz and still beads like crazy
No nonsense soap. Used it in a foam gun. Cleaned the coating like no other. Smells not so good, but well worth using!!!
This shampoo is great. I wish carPro would offer a gallon version at the same price point.
A great shampoo! Lubricity is great and cleaning ability is on par with much more expensive shampoos. I am very happy I chose this during my last order.

A great bucket or foam cannon soap. I use about and inch in the f.c. tank and the recommended amount in the bucket. Great suds in the bucket and a nice blanket via cannon. I use it on three different vehicles with different LSP's, one coated, one coated on some areas with Klasse SG, and the last vehicle with DoDo juice hard candy wax on some areas and a sealant. I have not noticed any negative effects on the non coating LSP's
If you're wondering whether this soap is for your coating then the answer is yes. This soap has nothing. No gloss enhancers, no wax no nothing. For some this would be considered a negative but for someone with a coating all you want is your coating free of contaminants and any hindering waxes. A 500ml bottle lasted me 6 weeks. With washes once or twice a week. Good lubricity and suds. Will buy again
