The CarPro PolyShave Decon Block is by far my favorite tool for claying a vehicle. The standard clay has been unnecessary for a while now and there have been a ton of variants of clay alternatives that have hit the market. Towels, pads, blocks, etc all having their own unique pros and cons. However, they all have similar construction on the part that actually removes the contamination. This rubberized polymer magic. So it comes down to form factor and price.

The ease of using a clay bar with the versatility of clay towel. Fits easy in the hand, durable if dropped just rinse and keep using.
Absolutely works great! Much easier to use than clay and gets the job done much quicker. I advise everyone to give this a try.
My curiousity led me to give this product a try and it is amazing. I'm a believer in clay bars to remove surface contaminants and create a smooth surface, but I hate the mess of dealing with the clay itself. Problem solved! This little sponge backed bar paired with soapy slick carwash or clay bar lube will glide across the surface and fit in every little corner. Best of all it won't stick to gaskets and seals nor will you have to knead and refold the bar over and over. Rinse it and put it back in its box and you are done!
