If you're looking for a great "bang for your buck" product that can tackle many tasks...CarPro PERL is a fantastic choice.
Product Review: CarPro PERL
I detailed my tires months ago and the dressing I used started to finally wear away. My tires went from that deep, dark shine that we all love, do a dull grey that clearly needed a refresh. The CarPro PERL has been out for some time, but it has been one I wanted to test out on my tires and this is the perfect time to finally pull it off the shelf.

Solid multi purpose plastic, vinyl, rubber and leather dressing. A bit on the expensive side but every time I go to a cheaper option I find myself coming back to PERL.

Hands down the best dressing for all purpose for plastics tires and interior. Dilution ratio matters for the shine. I use it 5:1 in a 320z bottle and get Excellent results for interiors.

PERL is the most versatile, but not the most durable, dressing that we use on a regular basis. Regarding versatility, the dilution can be changed to vary the sheen. It can be applied with an applicator, but is also thin enough to be sprayed on and coats and levels evenly using this method. As an exterior protectant, it can be sprayed into tight areas and cover large areas quickly. Unfortunately, the great appearance that PERL produces does not last long when subjected to moisture. For this reason, we tend to use PERL more as an interior dressing with limited exterior application.

I'm still testing this product out. So far, I've only used where I applied to one side of our leather ottoman in the living room, it left a nice finish. Looking forward to using it in the car. I use this product at a 5:1 dilution ratio.

After reading many good things about PERL I decided to finally give it a shot. This was my first step into the CarPro lineup, and my impressions were beyond good. Out of every tire shine and dressing I have ever used, PERL diluted 1:1 gives the most perfect satin shine to tires and exterior trim I have ever seen. Tires look nice and black with no extra shininess to them, and I haven't had any issues with sling. I used this on my mud flaps as well as the large piece of black trim on my rear bumper, and I have been blown away by the longevity of this product, after multiple washes and rain storms. I now use this on every client's vehicle as well as my own, and intend to buy plenty more in the future. Additionally, PERL is a great product for interior dressing. I've begun to use it in place of 303- the non-greasy satin finish gets me every time.

Another concentrated product that essentially can take like 3 products off your shelf. Use for tire shine, exterior dressing, interior dressing, general dressing engine bay. It's water based so no browning like solvent based.

It darkens what it is on very well such as plastic trim. If it's too glossy knock it down with MF towel. As interior dressing it really darkens the trim and is not greasy. Only con sometimes tires need second pass to go on evenly.

Perl is the first product that I have found that will clean up and give my ATV plastic a shine. After riding in the mud it is just tough to get looking new again but this stuff did it for me. Also used it on my floor mats and they also look factory new. When using it on my dash it looked a little streaky but I may have to just put a second coating on.

I use Perl to protect my interior and am pleased with the results. Easy to apply. Not the glossy appearance that some other products have. Also seems to last longer than 303 Protectant.

Perl is a fantastic multi-use product. From dressing tires to protecting all of the interior bits Perl is a Swiss Army Knife.
For tires I apply Perl diluted 1:1 or full-strength. The tires have a deeper black that doesn't look overly greasy. If an even more natural rubber look I will go with the 4:1 dilution.
For interior trim I like to use 4:1 dilution because it gives the trim a nice rich glow but not a greasy look. For leather I prefer even more dilution since it tends to make leather somewhat slick.
Perl makes engine bays look fantastic as well. Especially the modern engines with all of their plastic covers.
Overall a great product that can be tailor made to fit many tastes of shine.

Will be my goto. I've tried lots of different options. Have only used on my tires so far. The longevity is great and I do not have any sling onto my car after application. Will start using on my black trim as well

A great multi purpose dressing. I diluted this 4:1 for my interior after cleaning with CarPro Inside. It doesn't feel greasy or have a high gloss but still gives a bit of protection and a nice satin sheen. The value is hard to beat!

I was hoping to use this to protect my leatherette seats. I noticed on a test portion that it left strange streaks that were very unattractive. I have not tried it in any other areas of my car so it may work very well on tires or black rubber. I am using my go to product (Formula 303) for my seats and prefer it even thought it has to be reapplied frequently.

I purchased this product mainly due to its positive ratings and its water-based formula. I used it according to the diluted directions on the outside black plastic trim of my RAV4 and am pleased with the clean (but not over shiny) results. A small amount can go a long way. I believe this product is a worthwhile investment.

This was actually my first time using this product and I can honestly say that it will officially be part of my "Go-to arsenal" The product does great on so many different surfaces and you can either get a shiny finish or a nice clean matte finish depending on how much you dilute it. Another plus is that it give recommend dilution ratios on the label. If you haven't tried this yet, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle or two. You won't be disappointed.

PERL is a great dressing. I can not think of any cons for this item. The pros: It can be diluted for several different uses, it does not sling when used on tires. A little goes a long way. It can be used at full strength for a more glossy finish and diluted down for a more matte finish. Highly recommend!

I was not to pleased when using it as a tire dressing mixing it 1:1. However when I used it at the same ration as interior dressing it was absolutely great. I used it on a few cars and it leaves a shiny looking clean surface which I happen to like. After weeks it looks like it was just applied. Tire dressing no. Interior and rubber/ plastic trim yes.

I use other CarPro products, so was hoping for another great product here. Looks great applying a small amount on tires undiluted with a microfiber applicator and not shiny which is a plus for me. The issue is that it does not last. When the tires get wet the characteristics change for the worse. I will try it on other parts of the car that don't get wet and see how that fairs.

If you like to have your rubber and plastic shiny, but not too shiny, PEARL is for you. I hate how cheesy most tire gel or plastic shine looks. PEARL is pretty viscous, but applies easily. It seems to protect my tires and plastic pretty well and stays on for several weeks if you apply it to a clean surface. I like this and will buy it again!

So far I've used this on my interior leather / vinyl (diluted 5:1) and on tires (diluted 1:1). I would say it performs well. Adds a nice shine, and you don't need to use a lot of it at a time. On the margin I think working with a thicker liquid or gel would be a slightly less messy process, but I've been happy with the results of PERL so no complaints!

Run away from this product!! I have used many CarPro products and have always been satisfied…until I used PERL. I applied it to clean and dry tires, undiluted, on both my Mercedes and Lexus. The shine was great and it didn't sling off. However, after driving the cars in the rain, the tire gloss turned a white/grey color, making it look like I had driven the cars down a dirt road. I had to use full strength degreaser and a pressure washer to get this dressing off of the tires. After driving in the rain again the white/grey look is back!!! I keep trying to clean this mess off my tires, but nothing is working!! BUYER BEWARE!

Pros - great shine
Cons - turns white after driving in the rain.

My new go to tire dressing. I used it undiluted and 1:1. I like it either way. The undiluted application has more pop and the 1:1 a tad more subdued. Just be sure and clean the tires of all other dressings for best results. I will update as time goes on for longevity.

I really like PERL by CarPro. Once again, another QUALITY product from the gang at CarPro. I really like all of their products and the one thing I can always say about everything that CarPro makes is that it is TOP NOTCH. You do pay a little bit more, but as they say, a little goes a LONG WAY. That is true with all CarPro products. Plastic-Engine-Rubber-Leather (PERL) protectant imparts a natural sheen on your tires or other vinyl, leather, and similar surfaces and the thing I like about it is that it looks natural depending on how you dilute the product. I tend to use it full strength which is a lot more shine than if you dilute it a little and I apply it with a microfiber applicator and then follow up by buffing the surface with a microfiber towel which knocks down the shine a little to a more natural sheen. That works well for me. You only need to use a small amount of product and buff it into the surface you are cleaning/protecting. Wait a short period of time, buff away excess, you have a natural appearance that lasts! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROTECTANT.
