Product Description
CarPro Gliss is a hyper-smooth ceramic nano coating that adds an incredible layer of gloss and protection to your paint! Traditional waxes and sealants are great, but there are times you want to apply more gloss and a more durable form of protection. In these instances, a coating can really make the difference you are looking for. CarPro packed Gliss with modified long chain carbon-fluorine polymers and enhanced nano-technology, which allows this coating to not only apply incredibly easy, but add a durable form of protection to your paint for 12+ months! The hyper-slick and hydrophobic protective layer increases resistance to, static buildup, dust retention, and many types of mineral and water stains. This helps keep your paint cleaner longer, along with making future cleanings much easier. The extreme hydrophobic properties Gliss can be used as a stand-alone coating, or as a topper to existing coating layers. If you do use it as a topper, Gliss will enhance the gloss and life of the existing coating layers. This versatile product is great for anyone who wants strong protection and beautiful gloss, pick up a bottle today!New Version: CarPro released a new version of Gliss back in 2018. While this version is not officially listed as v2, it is the most recent version of Gliss to be released to date.
Kit Includes:
- 1x 50ml bottle of CQuartz Gliss (20ml+/- per coat)
- 1x Applicator Block
- 4x 4" Suede Microfiber Cloths
- 1x High Gloss Full Color Plastic Rear View Mirror Hanger (Optional)
Application Directions (Primary Coat):
- Wash, decontaminate, and polish paintwork
- Wipe down with CarPro Eraser (vehicle must be 100% dry and free of moisture or dew.)
- Drag two lines of product across length of suede wrapped applicator
- Apply evenly across surface, approximately 2 ft x 2 ft section at a time
- Add more product to applicator as needed to keep a wet, even application
- Gliss will flash fast and when a white haze forms, immediately wipe off all residues using a microfiber towel. If haze is left on too long then reapply and immediately wipe off
- If layering on top of itself, wait 1 hour between coats. If IR cured may repeat immediately. Total cure time: 12 hours
Application Directions (Top Coat):
- May be applied 1 hour or longer after CQuartz
- Gliss may flash faster when applied over CQuartz
Afer Tips:
- Keep surface dry for at least one hour after application
- Wipe any water off the surface during the first 24 hours after application
- Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5-7 days after application
- If it is dry and the air is clean outside then you may park the vehicle in direct sun after application is complete to hasten cure
- To maintain wash regularly with CarPro Reset or EcH2o

What I like about this product is the haze is a very clear indication that the excess product is ready to be removed. It is also very easy to work with if you do let it sit too long, simply re-wetting the surface with the damp applicator and immediately removing solved the issue for us. So far, Gliss looks to be a great addition to the CarPro lineup.

Gliss has provided a ton of flexibility in my offerings.
In it's intended use as a topper for one or two coats of Cquartz UK 3.0 I can charge for the application of all those steps, and be confident in it's longevity and performance.
But it also functions as a great "lite" coating where it's ease of use, gloss, slickness and durability make it a sure winner for those who don't have the budget for more expensive options.
This one is very simple and straightforward to use. Again, expect exceptional gloss, slickness, and water behavior for months on end.

I think I need to try it again, but my first time using I was not impressed. I had higher expectations from a CarPro product.
Easy to apply. Increases shine. Flashes fast, so its almost apply and remove. I like that it applies to exterior plastic trim and engine bay plastic after surface prep with alcohol/water mixture. Have applied to two cars and would recommend. Can't speak to longevity. Does not require the extensive detail surface prep of a true ceramic coating, but would still make sure the area of application is in best shape before applying. Nice product.
