CarPro DarkSide allows you to easily protect your rubber surfaces! Deep, dark rubber adds a great deal of contrast to the exterior of your vehicle, allowing it to stand out from others around it. With DarkSide, the 60% polydimethylsiloxane formula allows for a super quick and easy application that leaves behind an amazing looking surface. To apply, simply dilute to your desired strength, spray, and wipe, application really is that easy! Once applied, the surface will have a beautiful satin shine, features self-cleaning and hydrophobic properties, as well as UV and chemical resistance. Product Description
Tyre and rubber sealant. Highly hydrophobic, satin black shine.
Directions
- Clean and dry tyres thoroughly (we recommend CARPRO ReTyre).
- Squirt DarkSide 2-3 times on a tyre applicator or CARPRO MF Applicator and apply evenly over the tyre wall.
- Avoid water contact and allow to dry for 1-2 hours.

Excellent product, I don't like to much sheen on the tires, so this was perfect, I clean my car 2x week, the product held up 3 - 3 1/2 weeks to my liking. I've previously used Gyeon Q2, with good results also but Darkside has better durability in my opinion. I used 2 applications with each of these above products, darkside needs 2-4 hours applied indoors to dry enough before driving so I apply and let sit overnight.
I bought Darkside based on some reviews I saw on YouTube and it did not disappoint. I used it on some plastic trim pieces on the exterior of my car and gave it that new car black look and without any greasiness. A little goes a long way; less is more in this case. You will not be disappointed.
The shine is perfect, not too dull, not too glossy, just the right amount of satin finish. Concur with other reviews that the pump straw was about 2" too long and needed to be trimmed to fit since it's very stiff.
