CarPro Cquartz UK 3.0 Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
In a market that is now flooded with various coating options, this product is priced very competitively! I often refer to it as the absolute best "bang for your buck" coating. It offers extremely good performance in terms of protection, durability, and appearance, and is one of the least expensive options available. You simply can't beat that!
Cquartz UK is a product that I have grown to love over the past year or so. This budget friendly coating provides an excellent layer of protection, while also enhancing gloss and producing an amazing final touch to your perfectly polished vehicle. In this article, I will walk you through the basic application steps for the Cquartz UK Edition Ceramic Paint Coating.
Customer Reviews
100% great product. I am on my 6th car with Cquartz UK and love how easy it is to apply. Durability is also fantastic. Can't ask for much else Make sure you prep your surface properly by decontaminating/polishing/Eraser and maintaining it with Reload, and you will be very satisfied.
Simply the best! Looks better than new! My go too ceramic coating and reload really makes it pop!
I use this product consistently. I think it's very user friendly. My customers like it also.
I've used this stuff on numerous vehicles and have had nothing but awesome results. I had a 2020 Audi a4 that was coated when new and went 3 years without a wash… water was still beading up decently after 3 years. washed it with carpro reset and it was like new again. Love this stuff.
I use this coating to coat all my customers vehicles. Easy to apply and wipe off.
Really good experience applying this coating. I was worried about the heat/humidity in my area but it turned out to not be an issue. Gloss and slickness are very good. Anxious to see how it holds up.
Very happy with product and results. First time diy and very easy to apply. Left some product (high spots) but carpro essence took care of. Went ahead and topped with glass.
What a solid product. So much easier to use than the super hyped "pro ceramic", and just as good if not better results.
It's almost as easy as applying Optimum Gloss Coat. Gliss is closer, but 3.0 is definitely not hard, like I was expecting. It went on and off beautifully.
UK3.0 also left some intense clarity and gloss. It looked like another layer of clear was laid down. Really impressive. Water bearing is absolutely gorgeous. The customers are going to love it. I eventually topped off with Reload, which also beads beautifully. (Gliss v2 will be used going forward, and as a less expensive option to the two layers of UK3.0, and one layer of Gliss).
Not sure on durability as of now, but if it's anything like the reports indicate, this will be a home run product for me.
Kudos to CarPro for offering products of this level of quality to the general public. A big help to brand new, independent businesses.

I do not have an air conditioned garage and it rained cats and dogs the day I needed to apply. I would have waited until a low humidity day but I couldn't as I had to make a delivery deadline for a client. I applied two coats as recommended and it took 5.5 hrs for a full size truck in the high humidity. The product was incredibly difficult to wipe off in the high humidity and took a lot of time to remove streaking/high spots. I probably did more squats or sat in the catcher's position than I ever did when I played high school baseball to look for all the high spots!
It's been a day since applying and the vehicle looks amazing. As others have said, it's not slick to the touch like a traditional sealant and wax, but it sheds water crazy well. I had accidently spilled some water on the side door when I checked on it 18hrs later and not a drop adhered to the side panel. I still very lightly wiped with a new microfiber towel to be 100% sure no water remained especially at the base of the door and sill.
It's still in my garage so I can't comment on gloss, depth of color, and if it "looks" wet. From my garage lighting it looks very good but just a tad less of these three things when compared to a quality sealant/wax/coating. I could care less about slickness to the touch as you shouldn't be touching your paint anyway! This seems like a very good option for every day driven vehicles. If I was doing a high end or show car, I would choose something else. This is not a knock on the product as it's design is for protection and actual use. This wasn't meant to be a show car coating, in my humble opinion. This product appears it will excel at what it is meant to do. Time will tell.

Tried this for the first time on a new car after using Cquartz on previous applications. I went with UK 3.0 because of the colder climate when I was applying it vs. summer time temps. Very impressed, and would use this again regardless of the time of year.
Very high-quality ceramic coat. Had had my brand new black car coated with it and the paint looks very deep and beautiful. After several car washes and exposure to salty roads it is still breading up perfectly. The paint still has a nice glossy feeling to it unlike other ceramic coatings that leave it feeling as if the paint was bare. You won't need as much as you would think, I bought the 5ml bottle and had my whole SUV generously coated with over half the bottle remaining.
This product is very easy to work with and even 1st time users should fear this ceramic coating . Detailed Image shipped my product fast and received sooner than expected you have to love that
Awsome product to work with , easy on easy off . Just be sure to not cut corners prepping the paint for the coating to get the most out it
Simply the best!! I swear by this product. It has proven itself over and over and over again!!
This coating was super easy to apply. I did a thorough wash, decontamination, one step polish, and used CarPro Eraser to remove any oils left behind. Prep is the key to any coatings, and with proper prep CQUK 3.0 was a dream to apply. Flashed very quickly, easy to remove, and the gloss was insane. It's not the slickest product but the paint feels very smooth, the slickness can be easily increased with a topper like P&S Beadmaker. My only tip is to pull the car out into the sun when done applying, you will probably find spots that you missed from being in a garage.
Amazing! Very simple to use and extremely high quality finish! Can't get better than this!
I'm not a professional detailer and I found out that you don't have to be a pro to use these products. You just follow instructions and the results speak for themselves. Great product.
Best stuff I've ever used.
I'd probably buy again but kinda hard to take off the paint after applying atleast in hitter humid climate like here in St. Louis area . Gloss is great . Had Adams coating ,then gtechniq exo,& put this coating over the top .
I had use multiple brands of ceramic coating thru out many of years and somehow I always come back to carpro cquartz u.k. 3.0
Very easy to work with, especially it's appliable in wide range of temperatures, flash time depends on the weather but it buffs off with ease.

Super easy to apply and remove! I wish the kit had come with a bottle of carpro reload but oh well. This was my first time coating a vehicle and as I said it was super easy. The shine was amazing!
Pros:
Easy of use
Shine
Cons:
Kit did not come with a bottle of reload

The product went on and off really easy and looks great! Detailed Image processed my order and shipped it fast as well.
Absolutely would & will buy again! I read above that 91% said they would & couldn't believe it until I read the reviews, it doesn't have to leave the vehicle slick to be a good thing, it's typically tacky until it cures and/or after the Reload is applied, I have had 0 issues out of it on any installation, I read a review not impressed with the gloss as well, I assume some aren't perfecting their paint before applying which I don't understand, why protect scratches/blemishes, yes it has a few steps & time consuming to install which is another reason I would want my paint & my clients paint corrected to its highest scratch free luster before applying...great stuff!!
One of the best consumer grade coatings on the market. I have applied many of the consumer coatings from the other big brands on my own vehicles and customer vehicles. UK 3.0 has better durability(even through harsh Ohio winters), gloss, and self cleaning characteristics than I've seen out of the other brands. Application isn't as easy as some, but take your time and the rewards are greater especially long term.

Applied this to my wife's daily driver, a '17 glacier white Nissan Rogue. Went on very, very easily and was easy to buff out. Applied two coats plus Reload and it came out great. Application and removal of the transfer solution was much easier than some other coatings that I've used, and was an absolute breeze. The paint on this car isn't a color that will showcase the added gloss of this coating, but it has a noticeable pop to it. Applying CQUK 3.0 is more about protection on this car (not a garaged vehicle), and ease of cleaning than anything else, but the difference between coated and uncoated is noticeable.
Got it on just in time for a road trip to the northeast for the holidays and it performed very well on wet/dirty roads. A basic spray bottle of warm water was able to remove a lot of road grime off the paint with ease. Excellent hydrophobicity and beading, as expected, through multiple days of heavy rain and grimy roads. Very happy with the initial results.

Awesome product, it is my go to Ceramic Coating
Absolutely amazing product as long as prep work is done right! I have used many other ceramic coatings and this is my go to stuff! I have a detailing shop and all the cars I've done the customers love it.,,
I had never used a ceramic coating so I ordered this product for my sons car. It went on so easy and the results were so good, I have now reordered and applied on my 13 year old Escalade. Perfect results on both! Getting ready to do my wife's car now!
I have used CQUK 2.0 and now 3.0. Both are great. CQUK 3.0 has performed very well on my personal car and I would use it again and do recommend it to others. I do like that 3.0 is less tacky than the previous formula as well as being much more user friendly.
I'm a fan of the CQuartz 3.0 offering. I've had nothing but success with their product line so far, and I will continue to use their products moving forward.
We use this as our base coating offering. It's easy to use/apply and very durable. It also helps us keep costs down for our customers. We usually have 2-3 bottles in stock.

Great product. I have this on my daily driver that sits outside in the summer months while my summer car is in the garage. 3 years later, the car still looks awesome and water sheets like I just applied it.
I purchased Cquartz to have applied to my two cars that had previously been detailed with Cquartz almost a year and a half ago. I didn't not apply the Cquartz myself. After having Cquartz applied initially I periodically applied Car Pro Reload myself to help maintain and further protect the finish. The Reload was very easy to apply and remove. I was impressed with the durability of the UK and will try doing it myself the next time.
I found that if you put it on a bit thicker than the description or recommendations it is easier to work and less likely to fog. By a little thicker I mean that a 30ml bottle will do 2 cars not 3.
Amazing gloss and depth. Sheets water right and customers love it!
Awesome product for the price and longevity. Customer super happy with results!
Great stuff! Very easy to use and leaves behind an incredible gloss.

This is my first time applying a ceramic coating. I wanted to see what all the buzz is about.

My verdict on the CQuartz UK coating is that I am not too impressed. It provides a good level of gloss, but one that looks thinner and less warm than a good synthetic sealant like my favorite, Jescar Power Lock, and not close to the shine provided by an expensive natural carnauba. For the price of this coating, I would expect it to provide stunning gloss and depth, as well as make me more handsome. It's too early to tell what the longevity is of course, but even if it lasts the claimed 12 months, I'm not convinced it's worth the cost and effort versus the Jescar Power Lock or other good sealant applied every six months.
Another thing I'm not impressed with is the overall feel of this coating. It feels slightly gummy or tacky when rubbed with the fingers. Any good sealant or wax should make the paint feel like clean glass, with absolute smoothness and no drag on the skin, as though it was lubricated. The coating is very smooth, but it doesn't have that lubricated feeling. I followed the instructions to the letter, in a garage with low relative humidity outside, so I'm not sure if I did anything wrong, but if the application is so finicky then that is a mark against it. I prefer products that produce the expected results with a wider margin of application.

One of my favorite coating's to date! Easy to apply if you do it properly. Makes maintaining your car an absolute breeze and is actually very fun to wash cars afterwards, the beading properties are insane! Even if the car is covered in dirt and dust the gloss this coating produces makes the car look clean with any color.
Great product, easy to use and custom satisfaction was off the chain!

Since this was the first time I have applied a coating to a car, I was apprehensive and excited at the same time; so I made sure that I followed all of the steps that were necessary to ensure the proper bonding of coating to paint. The prep work is 95% of the process. I used CarPro Essence as my last step after removing swirls and imperfections. I think if the prep work is good the coating will adhere and bond flawlessly. I didn't experience any problems with marring or streaking with either of the two cars I applied this coating to (maybe I was fortunate), but both cars came out beautifully. This is an outstanding product.
First application lasted about 9 months. I had half a bottle left from last April and it was in the expiration date so I applied again. this time i used the full Carpro lineup. Wash, clay, Trix, Meguiars microfiber polish, wash, Eraser. Application and removal was much easier. You need clean paint for this to work. I have a dark gray car and it's been three weeks and three times in the rain and still don't need to wash.
Maybe it is the heat and humidity in the south, but applied today in the garage and found this product is not the easiest to use. Work time was very short and it frequently left areas that were difficult to remove. I worked in 2x2 foot panels on my 911 which is Platinum silver metallic and found that it was very difficult to see when the product flashed. Have used Opti Gloss on two other vehicles with much success. Will have to wait to see if the durability and hydrophobic properties are as previously described to decide if I would buy again.
Hands down, the easiest ceramic coating I've tried to date . Just makes sure your prep work is to the t and you'll be okay! Other than that,I would definitely buy again!!! My trucks never been so hydrophobic. A little over 30 mph after rain practically dries itself off! Very satisfied

Solid product. Easy to use on property prepped surfaces. I used on my rims, headlights, chrome. All with great success and durability. Currently going on 1.5 years. (Bi-weekly wiped down with spray wax after hand wash)
Great stuff will use on all my carsw. Easy to use just be sure you wipe it ALL off when it flashes.
It is an excellent product. One of the best protection available , if not the best. I am using it for a few years now, with excellent results... It's like taking a snapshot in time of your paint condition. You need to keep topping up with Reload from time to time...
So far I'm very happy with the results of this product. It's helped me make a ton of money in my business and my customers are thrilled with the results each time. So far no complaints. Do not apply it in direct sunlight and it can be difficult to remove in a humid non ventilated garage or warehouse. I'd recommend enthusiasts looking to shine and protect their prized possessions, and to detailing professionals looking to add serious revenue to their business!
Remove this as soon as it flashes. wipe a finger and if it removes then immediately remove. I made the mistake of leaving it on two doors and stopped to take a phone call. It was extremely difficult to remove. But now that it's on. best sealant I have ever used. slick but not oily. water beads look like little globes.
I applied two coats to my Mustang GT this weekend, and I have to say, the gloss is impressive. The application process appears to be straight forward, but it is definitely not the easiest thing to apply. It also is not very slick after curing down. It is hard and very glossy, just not slick. Durability should be great judging from reviews, and gloss is awesome, just don't see it being something I would use on clients' cars.
The best , really awesome stuff ..

Pros of this cquk, id say has to be the shine as its intense and i was very impressed. Obviously protection would come in 2nd place. Cons of this, i would have to say is application. My experience using this product wasn't great but it was my first time installing this particular coating on my personal car. As i have used others i noticed that the flash time was quick for me, i also noticed i did not have enough applicators as they also quickly hardened. My results were good but could of been better. If your gonna go with this coating i would recommend extra applicators and work one panel at a time. If you have a friend handy it helps cause you will find your self opening and trying to close the bottle finding a safe place to place it while holding an applicator and a towel at the same time. All in all its a great coating i left a few highspots on my black subaru sti but that easily came off with a hand polish and orange pad and some marring on one door from a hardened applicator but i will address that issue later. Ive learned from this application and it will make future applications easier and hope it helps others who read this too.
I'm not sold on this, and I really wanted to be. I applied according to the directions, in an air conditioned garage. I waited 3 minutes before wiping the panels down and it appeared I was just smearing the product. I waited 5 minutes, and it still didn't seem to have flashed yet. I gave it a little more time and it did better, but in the end, the car still has a few streaky areas that I'm not impressed with. I have previously used 22ple with no such issues, and had great results. I do really like how slippery the CQUK makes the paint feel, but again, 22ple left a nice slippery finish as well. The water beading is great, but for some reason it does seem to make the paint water spot more easily than with 22ple or other products I have used in the past. I'm going to apply it to another car to give it another chance, but at this point, I don't think it is an improvement over 22ple. I wouldn't use it on a customer's car if the blotchiness was a risk. I also went through a lot of the sueded microfibers with the wipe down process so before you apply it make sure you have plenty on hand for removal, and also several on hand for the application.
I am loving the ease of use on CQ in general. The U.K. edition is no different and applies just as easy, and the results are great. My most recent application was to a 2014 Corolla in pearl white. After minor polishing and application of CQUK you could not even look at the car in direct sunlight, it was THAT shiny! Amazing results and in my opinion, one of the easiest coatings to apply. I seriously believe that anyone could apply this coating after reading the instructions. I know some individuals freak out about the application process however there is nothing to freak out about! This is my go to choice for coatings going forth.
If they had a monthly "auto send" program, I'd sign up! CQUK is quite easy to work with (if you follow the directions to a "T".), gives phenomenal gloss, water beading, and protection. I've used a few different coatings and it's hands down my favorite. As with any coating, you've got to be careful during the application process. I found it's much easier w/two people (one to apply, one to follow behind buffing it clean). It's on my own car, and I won't hesitate for a second to recommend it to my clients!
