CarPro Ceriglass Glass Polish Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
I've been meaning to write this article for a while now and finally got around to it. We have been using the CarPro Ceriglass Glass Polish for quite some time now, with what I am happy to say is great results!
Customer Reviews
I used this kit plus the Carpro polishing pad on a Griot's BOSS orbital and the results were truly excellent! The side windows on a 2001 F-150 were terribly lined up from the wiper seals, such that they couldn't even be seen through in low sun. This kit completely removed all that striping, and revealed completely shiny, smooth glass. The pad in the kit is necessary to get the very edges of the glass. It didn't remove deeper scratches, but nothing will. With a buffer, four large windows can be done in under an hour. Great product!
Only good thing about this product is that it's relatively inexpensive but I couldn't tell that it actually made any difference at all was a waste of time and money
I didn't get it to remove scratches as much as I wanted to see how much fine pitting could be remedied. My first effort was on my '17 Tundra, 70k miles, orig windshield. Taped off all the trim, removed lower cowl and wipers, then taped off the hood/top/mirrors with a plastic drop cloth. Turns out that was the only real PITA. Used a Rupes 6" Bigfoot with an LC Glass Polishing Disc (sans any foam backer btwn pad and buffer). Spent about 25 min overall on the windshield and while it did not remove all the pitting, the windshield is remarkably better and something I would have happily paid somebody $150 to do. Followed it up with some G5 and couldn't be happier.
What this product did in 15 minutes, to my windshield, is what I can do in 20 minutes using toothpaste; would I purchase this product again? Look at it this way, when you are new at whatever you do it is during the first result that looks and feels great! After few rounds you will look for better results; I'd rather spend 5 more minutes using toothpaste instead of wasting money and feeling like a fool with this trash.
I would buy this item again. I l Iove that it cleaned my windshield without leaving any streaks or swirls. I have been looking for something that would do just this and seems I have found it. I am very satisfied with this product.
Didn't work like they say. Didn't help my water spots. Waste of money
This product worked really well on my windshield to remove some very hard to remove film. I also will say it is a little hard to wipe off like they show in YouTube video demo's. I had to use alcohol or water to remove it after buffing. Wish it would have come off easier. All in all it is a very good product.
Great product would recommend it to any detailer.
Got my water spots off the windshield!!!
Did a fantastic job of getting rid of the hard water spots on all my vehicles. Way easier than my current method of using "Nothin's Better" and old fashion elbow grease. Here's how I noticed the difference: I was driving home one night after having used Ceriglass to polish my windshield the week before when it started to misty rain. I turned on my wipers and after that first wipe, it suddenly look like the road ahead of me appeared in HDTV. Lol, I must have failed to wipe the residue off completely after polishing. A must have in your detail box.
I'm still up in the air on whether or not I would buy this again, so I marked yes for would. This stuff flashes so fast, so you pretty much need to work fast. I haven't tried any other brand yet, so I don't know if thats typical of all glass polishes. I want to try other brands before I give a definitive answer about buy'n this again. It did remove water spots, but any good polish and pad can do that, we'll see...
Not worth the hassle to remove standard road grim etc. Would agree with the reviewer that said "It is almost impossible to use and if you get any on vinyl or trim you will spend days trying to get it off. There is no easy way to use this product, It dies out while applying it, it is hard to remove" Had to replace wipers as the product seemingly caused damage to the surface of the blades.
Front windshield of my 2017 Infinity QX60 had acid rain spots ingrained in glass. Tried white vinegar, glass polish, Windex, etc. without any success. Ceriglass Polish applied with Lake Country Glass Polishing Disc was 100% effective in removing all spots in one attempt. Window is now like new and totally clear. GREAT products!!!
Used quickly with light pressure & rayon pad to clear up water spots & general contamination from a 120k mile old windshield prior to glassparency application. Worked great - definitely a thick formula that requires a bit of a damp towel to remove after the polishing is done. Will certainly be using the pad & polish combo on future polishes
I used this on a 13 year old windshield with great results. It improved the rear window of my suv but some of the deepest scratches remain. I think they were too deep- wiper blade had come off and metal scratched it deeply. Side windows came out perfect. I would definitely buy again
This product really works. At first I had my doubts but after setting the buffer at 5800 and patience, it removed some really deep scratches from a power pole came down and the cables scratched the windshield. 1 hour later, the scratches were gone. Love this product.
Had etched glass and extremely hard water spots on my own 2008 Honda Accord. Nothing could get them out but this polish with my Porter Cable and Griots Garage Glass Polishing Pads worked perfectly. Glass like new.
Worked for me. Used it to polish the windows of my 87' Monte Carlo SS, after years of neglect and water spots and it has improved the window clarity by about 70%. I plan on doing the process again, which may get 100% results. That being said, it's not a one step type of deal here. You may have to do it more than once.
Love it, I got the glass looking like brand-new, like a diamond.
If you're a legit detailer you need this. After a quick polish on glass you can add your favorite window coating and you'll have amazing results. I highly recommend this product!
Works great on acid rain and water spots. Try to keep off rubber and trim.
Even tho it was messy to use, I would buy this again. It remove all the water spots on the windshield of my 2012 Camry. It took me just as long to clean up the mess I made with the little splatters all over the car but they came off easily. I had just waxed the car 2 weeks ago so I think that was a big help. If you choose to use this be sure and cover your vehicle,

Would they buy this item again? Yes
Used this paired with the CarPro rayon pads to remove wiper hazing and RIDS from front and back windshield; it DID work as directed, BUT, it takes a very long time and takes much effort. the scratches on my back window were reduced more than half and looks immensely better. Windshield hazing was removed by about half or more. You MUST keep the product wet; keep a water spray bottle handy. It's a very messy process, tape off edges and mouldings. expect to wash your car afterwards.
As others mentioned it is a mess to work with. You absolutely need to tape around the edges of your windows and the dusting is heavy. Having said that, it did work in my experience. I did not expect to remove scratches using a DA (not enough heat generated for hard glass) but it did a nice job of removing water marks and haze. My bottle was, when I got it, expired according to the Carpro sticker on it, not sure if that matters.
This product may clean and shine glass but it does not take out any scratches or windshield wiper haze. I buffed it on and spent a lot of time but it was worthless for any scratch removal of any kind.
Emphatically, I would not purchase this product. It is almost impossible to use and if you get any on vinyl or trim you will spend days trying to get it off. There is no easy way to use this product, It dies out while applying it, it is hard to remove, it powders up and makes a mess and it does not do what is was designed to do.
