Product Description
The Buff and Shine Uro-Wool Cutting Pad is the pad you reach for if you have heavy imperfections that need that extra cutting power that you simply will not receive from other pad options. These Uro-Wool pads are not exactly like the traditional wool pads that you may be used to. These pads use 100% soft, processed wool and the individual fibers are knitted onto the pad, not twisted. This means less lint and wool fibers flying off the pad during use! They look similar to lambswool, but the processed wool fibers allow for a more precise construction, which increases durability and overall polishing results. There is virtually no foam backing, which allows the power of the polisher and user to be more readily transferred directly to the face of the pad. Swirls, scratches and other heavy imperfections will be removed faster and much easier with this design. However, you will not be left with pigtails or lots of oxidation. The Uro-Wool actually finishes down extremely well and often times only needs one light polishing step to follow up and leave the paint ready for protection. My initial thoughts after spending a little bit of time with this pad can be summarized to this simple question: why did I wait so long to try wool pads?!?! Thinking back to the many times when I have had to go over a panel two or three times with microfiber pads to accomplish the desired defect removal, I feel I could have avoided a lot of that extra work if I had been using wool pads such as the Buff and Shine Uro-Wool. Hopefully, my experiences may convince others to pick up a wool pad, or two, and see if they are a good fit for your paint correction needs.

Amazing cut and amazing finishing in one step.. such a great pad!!
Used with 3D AAT 501 to remove 1500 grit wet sanding patch, worked great with one cross hatch pattern on a rotary! And yes it finished down very well for how much cut it provides, I will buy again!
