Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Microfiber Pad Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
I am happy to say that my initial impressions of the Uro-Fiber pad are outstanding. I am excited to purchase more of these in all sizes to replace my existing microfiber pad collection as they wear out.

This I my favorite one step pad. I've purchased many times.
One of my favorite pads with the DA and good price point. Seems to last a good while before breaking down.
A great pad love the results every time, ideal for 1 step paint correction or paint enhancement.
Great pad!!! Love the results.
Great pad for pairing with an All in One polish !
Best microfiber type of buffing pad I have used so far. Seems to stay cleaner than other microfiber pads. Good for both one and two step corrections. Easier to wash too.
I recently purchased a few of these pads in different sizes to use on my wife 2019 Black Cadillac XT5. After I doing a pre-wash, contact wash, iron removal, clay bar treatment. It was now time see what fuss was all about with these new pads. I applied a 3 to 4 drops of perfect finish on the 5" pad for a test spot. I was very impressed with results, I noticed all of the minor scratches and swirls that my wife's car had on the hood were gone. Although the paint was alittle hazy, that was okay but after i switched to a yellow Rupes pad and reapplied perfect finish again the haze was gone and the paint was very shiny. I am forward to doing a 1-step paint correction on my daughters gray car. But for now Iam satisfied and I will buy more pads as needed.
As my microfiber cutting and polishing pads from the other two big brand name companies wear out, I replace them with these amazing Uro-Fiber pads. These are, IMHO, the most versatile pads a person can buy. With Meg's M100 and M105, these cut as well as the other brand's dedicated cutting pads, yet these finish down better. With an AIO or a mild polish, these pads will also leave a mar-free finish behind. My go-to combo for tackling all but the most trashed paint is my Griot's G9 machine paired with 3D One on these Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber microfiber pads. It is virtually fool-proof, and works every time.
Good pads...as a few mentioned, I teamed this with 3d one and it did the job. Probably the best pad out there right now.
Absolutely love this pad. Especially when paired with 3D One. Match them up together for a true one step and let the magic happen. This pads cuts well through light-moderate imperfections while also finishing VERY well. Definitely my go to pad for one steps!
I love this pad. It can be used with a compound, a polish, or an all in one polish/sealant. The pad allows you to finish the paint down to a last step ready finish. I ordered the 5 inch and 3 inch pads and would definitely buy them again.
I have Multiple of these and they work amazing with 3D One. They provide great cut with a little pressure then 2 passes no pressure and it finishes out quite nice.
A superb pad. Paired with a good AIO and you're all set for a true one step with moderate correction and a superb finish. I used this pas with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish and it did a wonderful job. Vehicle was proper prepped with strip wash, clay, iron decomm, then polished with Uro Fiber. Very impressed with this pad. Perfect balance of cut and finish. I would (and did) buy more.
If you are looking for a ine step pad this is it. Paired with 3D One, and you have a cut and finish in a true one step with true paint correction.
These pads worked fantastic as I had to perform some paint correction on a white Mercedes. They tend to have hard paint and this helped big time while using some 3D HDSpeed. You have to keep some of these ready.
Very good cut and finish, really impressed with these pads. Used with a mild cutting all in one I was able to clear about 60% of all swirls and scratches with just a couple passes. I intend to buy more of these as needed as I feel they would work well for 1 step and enhancement duty.
First time using this pad. Cutting availability is good and finishing is great. I like to use this pad with griots fast correction on cars with lots of swirls and light scratches. This is my number one choice for one step
Great all around work horse of a pad. It cuts well and finishes out nicely if you use the pads correctly
So far not a fan. Great cut sure left a lot of haze. Used a medium polish. Feynlab F500 pad seemed to cake up excessively no matter what combo little very little blow out and brush after every single pass. These just caked up heavy I used 9 pads to do a single truck.
Highly recommend. Fast cut, clean polish, low heat, very easy to use. One of my main go to pads right now
I find myself reaching for these Urofiber pads quite often than my foam pads anymore.
The Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Microfiber Pads are my go to pads. Cuts well and finishes down great...

I first started experimenting with these pads in 2017. At the time they were primarily being used at the shop on 8mm orbitals with Menzerna PF2500 following a cutting step of Meguiar's M100, 4ply twisted wool pad, and a rotary.
Very often they would effectively remove all of the compounding haze and leave an incredible finish (a testament to Menzerna's unparalelled abrasives). There were instances of pad marring made evident by little "ticks" left in the paint by the fibers. This is an indicator that despite being given the title of a "one step" pad, it does fall to the more aggressive side.
Then I did some testing and usage for corrections and found them to be incredibly effective. On some paints a medium cut polish was all that was needed to completely remove some heavier swirls and scratches. On a harder GM clears, the Uro-Fiber and 3D One removed some heavy car wash scratching, marring, and haze - all with an old pre-xp Porter Cable 7424 8mm too. With cutters like M100 and FG400 expect reliable paint leveling.
So while these pads have enjoyed some press recently as a "one step" or "AIO" pad, be advised that they are plenty capable of heavy cutting duties, while leaving a great finish, which I believe was the idea behind these pads in the first place.
Other things I like are:
1. The way these pads fit on the backing plate. Almost an exact fit. Runs smooth and effortless over the paint.
2. Durability. Makes these pads a reliable asset, and an investment to the professional.
3. Runs cooler.
4. Easily cleans on the fly using a pad conditioning brush. Very useful when compressed air is not available.
One thing I did notice was that they didn't work so well on a non-modded Rupes polisher, but I only use these on the PC anyways so it doesn't matter in my situation.
As I've recently revamped my pad selection, the Uro-Fiber has become my go-to for defect removal using a heavy or medium polish (FG400, PF2500) and the yellow Uro-Tech is my polishing, finishing, and cleaner wax pad (PF2500, SF4000, DG101), and the white Uro-Tech is my sealant application. The decision to focus on these pads was due to the incredible flexibility, cut to finish ratio, simplicity, and durability.

Great one step pad. Good cut and finishes down well on soft paint. Easy to clean out.
These pads are great for one step corrections or AIO's like HD Speed. They provide a good combination of cut and finish depending on the chemical used. Like all microfiber pads, they do get loaded up so cleaning after each panel pass is a must to keep the pad effective. Overall, I really like these pads and would highly recommend them.
Always looking for options for my Ibrid nano polisher and this definitely fits as an option along with foam and wool pads for paint correction.
These are very good pads for one steps. On the right paint they cut and finish out well. The smaller sizes are great on the Rupes iBrid nano.
I used these pads this weekend for a perfect paint correction job i had with a 2018 ford mustang. This car was absolutely trashed. It was a loaner vehicle before being purchased by my customers. Now i love my cutting foam pads and i was a bit skeptical from using these pads. But let me tell you folks. This pad cuts amazingly fast and well. I used my orange foam pads and just couldnt get rid of the of the deep imperfections. Switched to this with v32 and wow. You will need to follow up with a polish pad or disc as the heavy compound and pad leaves haze. Which is to be expected. But the polishing stage is no time. You will have absolutely perfect results.
I used these pads now for my 2 step correction jobs.

I just got these 1 step microfiber pads and I cant wait to use them. Very high quality. They are as soft as a baby's butt. According to all the rave reviews I have read and the videos I have seen this is the latest technology and the best pad available right now. Thanks Detailed Image for all the very high end products you sell at a good price with super fast and very cheap shipping. Y'all were a lot cheaper than anybody else on this product. You have my business forever.
Used this pad this weekend on a Tundra and it was fantastic. Finished down great and currently just ordered a few more to add along with my Meguiars MF cutting discs. This paired with Clear Cut was a defect killing monster!
Nice addition to my pad arsenal, also great when coupled with a true one step like 3D speed. Highly recommend.
