Who’s going to SEMA?
by DJ MayoHey guys, I can’t believe its that time of the year again. 2011 sure has flown by. I wanted to get an idea of who was heading out to SEMA this year the first week of November. Last year, I attended with a group of the DI Detailers and had a great time, and if your time allows you to, I recommend coming out. Whether you’re a seasoned detailer or do this for a hobby, we would love the chance to meet some of the blog followers. This is a great opportunity to meet others within the industry, see the newest products coming out and witness some of the most mind blowing cars on the planet. So if you’re thinking of attending the show, please let us know in the comment box below.
I’ll be there, and I definitely look forward to meeting some more DI Blog readers like we did last year!
I have several customers in the custom car building business who are going and i would love to attend also but i thought it was for industry insiders only.
Can anyone tell me how i would go about getting tickets.
Thanks.
I’ll be heading down with my wife this year and making a vacation out of it too….doing Halloween Vegas style! ๐
I Hope to see some DI Blog followers as well. I’m pretty sure I heard a rumor that Todd will be setting up a small table to sign autographs too. ๐
The info below was taken from the SEMA web site…
The SEMA Show is a trade-only industry event; it is not open to the general public. However, if you are an employee of a company that is qualified to attend the show, log onto http://www.SEMAShow.com and click on โAttend Show.โ Buyers, exhibitors and media can register here.
I find it’s pretty common for people to purchase tickets for the event and then something comes up to where they can’t attend. If you know anyone in the industry just ask around as they may have extra passes.
I will have a car on display at the SEMA show.It will be on shown at The Hoffman Group booth. It is across from the GM display.I met Todd and DJ last year and had a great talk about products and applications.I hope you all can stop by and introduce yourselves. My car is a 1951 Mercury with a wild flame paint job.I also live in Vegas for over 30 years. If anyone has a question about my city please don’t hesitate to ask.
You know I’ll be there! I’m working for Ford and Meguiars helping prep cars for the show. If you are around look for the guys in all black wiping down cars and looking very tired. Wed-Friday I’m on my own and hope to meet some of the readers!
Cheers,
GREG
I’m working a few angles. Going to SEMA is on my bucket list. It’s inevitable that I’m going. The question is when.
Got my pass and going for the first time. Can’t wait. Kind of like a kid in a candystore.

Will be there. Do you guys ever use gloves to protect your hands? Is there a need? If so, come by the Black Lightning booth for some free samples.

I’ll be there!! Making it a point to explore the show and have fun!
