Wheel Woolies: A Non-Traditional Detailing Use

by

If you’ve used them, you love them. If you don’t love them, you’ve clearly not used them…of course, I am talking about Wheel Woolies! Wheel Woolies are amazing for wheel cleaning but did you know their use goes far beyond just wheels? In this video, I share one of the many ways I use them on no just wheels, but on other nooks and crannies which can be challenging to clean. I hope you enjoy it!

    Great idea. Thanks

  2. Rick B says:

    I like the idea!

Would it be a good idea to have a separate, dedicated Wheel Woolie brush for this? Seems like Wheel Woolies that you use for wheels might accumulate some embedded brake dust that could cause marring in sensitive areas. What do you think?

Personally I’d definitely have separate ones. I also keep any microfiber towels, ECT, that I use on wheels separate. Maybe it’s overkill but tools are cheap compared to repainting.
