To say the least, winter detailing can be a pain in the you know what. From the cold weather to the increased dirt and grime, just taking your car around the block can yield it becoming extremely dirty, extremely fast. Do not even get me started on the salt! When the winter weather is at its worst, I take my vehicle through a touchless car wash. I know, I know, a touchless car wash, really!? Yes. While this is not the most ideal way to wash a vehicle, it is a quick and easy way to clean. Plus, you can blast the heat and stay nice and warm in the process. What you do however want to avoid is a tunnel wash at all costs. Tunnel washes use high speed brushes and while this wash can remove more dirt and grime, it does a great job at implementing a great deal of swirls and scratches into your paint. With a touchless wash, you can knock off heavy contamination quickly and wait for the winter weather to warm up to perform a more thorough detail, or hit the touchless and return home to finish the detail off.
