How do you remove stubborn paint that has been spilled onto a car? Check out our from the vault post this month!
I have a 1997 Ford f-250with factory paint. I have wer sanded the truck, buffed it back with a DI orange pad and menzerna 400. Follow up with white pad and menzerna 4000. Then red pad with mezerna 4500. I buff with a Flex DA machine. Run on 4 with orange pad with firm pressure. 4 with white pad med. pressure. 3 with red pad light pressure. My problem, I get very fine micro swerls on the small factory fender flares. I follow the contours of the fender close. The rest of the truck looks great. Just those small factory fender flares. What can I do to stop the micro swerls? The article was great. That is why I contacted you. The paint is RED !
