Product Review: Rupes Bigfoot Polisher Bag

by

Rupes Bag

Professional tools and products go a long way to not only allowing you to produce a better result, but to look professional to the client while doing so.

Which is important because, let’s face it, in most cases you are a stranger they are trusting with what is often their second most expensive investment, next to their home. So, if you have all of these amazing tools and products but carrying them around in an Ikea bag, it is bringing the look of professionalism down. This is where the Rupes Bigfoot Polisher Bag comes in.

The Rupes Bag has a Mary Poppins level of space inside and can fit most of the products and tools you would need for any detail. I do a lot of correction and coating jobs and can take with me 2 polishers, multiple bottles of polish/compounds, coating w/applicator pads, multiple pads, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, brushes, tire dressing, wheel cleaner, clay block, CarPro Eraser and a bag of sour patch kids. So, you’re probably thinking two things; Wow that is a lot! And it is, I told you it was Mary Poppins level. Then, are sour path kids a detailing necessity? And yes, they are.

The Rupes Bag looks extremely professional, very heavy duty and is built for years of use and abuse. It has large handles along with a long, padded, shoulder strap. The zipper is very smooth, an underrated quality, and the top flips open, much like a suitcase, allowing you full access without any zipper obstructing your view. The bag has good structure so it will not fold or fall over, it will stand strand throughout your detailing battle. The logo placement, although a bit large is the only color or design on the bag, making it a very clean and simple, which I like. On the inside, it has many places to store bottles, 16 and 32oz sizes, along with smaller ones for brushes. Some flatter pockets are great for other tools and small coating bottles.

Pros:

  • Large cavity and many compartments to store products and tools
  • Durable construction with great structure
  • Smooth zipper with large opening
  • Large strap with shoulder padding
  • Professional look
  • Cons:

    • It is a bit expensive, not that it isn’t worth it but at $99.99 it could be a lot for someone to justify. If that is the case, but you are still wanting to get a nice bag, the Detailed Image Buffer Tool Bag is still very nice, and at $49.99 you can get a stockpile of sour patch kids with the savings.

    Overall:

    • This is an amazing bag. Having something designed specifically to carry and organize your detailing products and tools will not only look professional, but increase your efficiency and quality of life not having to search for products.
