I have used a lot of polishes since first starting out in detailing, and in my opinion Optimum Hyper Polish is one of the most under rated polishes on the market. I have not found a job that I haven’t been able to use this on yet. Don’t let the medium cut rating of this versatile polish fool you, it finishes down just as nice as any finishing polishes on the market while removing some pretty major defects.

Product Description
Paint Perfect in a Spray
This ground-breaking spray polish is fast cutting, ZERO dusting, and user friendly. The Optimum Hyper Spray Polish contains a unique blend of proprietary polymers and polishing agents that will rapidly remove swirls and minor blemishes while producing brilliant gloss and clarity. Optimum Hyper Spray Polish is what you have been looking for, but until now, never existed!Directions
DIRECTIONS: Always shake well before using. This polish can be used for rapid swirl removal while creating brilliant gloss and clarity. For swirl removal, use a polishing foam pad with a rotary buffer at 1200-1600 RPM. One to two sprays per 2 foot area will suffice. More is not needed as the product will keep cutting and has a long working time. Product can be sprayed on panel or directly on the pad. Use medium to light pressure to crate perfect results in a brief amount of time. Product will act more aggressively if used with a more aggressive foam pad or a wool pad while still creating deep gloss. Product can also be used with an orbital buffer with ANY choice of foam pad if desired. Wipe off residue with a dampened microfiber towel. For heavier compounding and sand scratch removal, use the Optimum Hyper Spray Compound. VOC compliant and body shop safe.
This is a picture from one of my most recent projects that I had worked on. This is a 2008 Nissan Xterra in midnight blue, a stunning color when not masked behind all these paint defects. The exterior of this vehicle had all of the major defects that you see on a lot of used cars. It had swirling, which was quite easy to see, rotary burns (holograms) and quite a few random intermittent deep scratches (RIDS). For almost all the vehicles I have worked on this year, the first product I reach for is Hyper Polish.
Hyper Polish is one of the easier polishes you will work with due to its long work time. You could literally work this product all day and it won’t dry out or dust. Hyper Polish is unique in that it contains both diminishing abrasives (longer you work the more they will cut) and ultra-fine micro abrasives which cut through the entire work cycle. This means that you will have excellent cut through your entire work cycle. I typically start out with a Lake Country White Polishing Pad as my first test, and if this does not give me the results I am looking for I will step up to the Lake Country Orange Light Cutting Pad. To prime the pad on your initial use you will shake the bottle well and apply 2-3 sprays onto the pad. Unlike other polishes where you need to work it into the pad to prime, the spray makes it easy to apply product to the entire surface of the pad so you do not need to work the product into the pad. Once primed you simply only need 1-2 sprays on the pad per panel depending on the size of the panel you’re working on.
You will notice that as your wiping the surface that your microfiber does seem to build up with polish. You will need to use quite a few clean towels when using this polish to go around the whole vehicle. The above picture is the results of Hyper Polish on a Lake Country Orange Light Cutting Pad using my Griot’s THE BOSS G21. This combination worked beautifully on this paint as you can see in the picture. There are still some RIDS remaining in the finish, but the depth, gloss and clarity is now outstanding.
Here is another picture on the driver side door showing an area that was polished in the center of the door. If you are looking for a product that is very easy to use and will provide outstanding results, Optimum Hyper Polish is that product.
This is a picture of the vehicle after being finished and coated with a professional paint coating. The owner of the vehicle couldn’t believe it was the same vehicle as the color appeared so different after being properly polished and coated.
