Product Review: Detail Factory Pet Hair Brush and Rake
by Mike @ DII got my first dog (Leonidas) less than two years ago and I found out real quick how much he sheds. I was “told” he shouldn’t shed much, but that is not the case. Luckily his hair is short and less noticeable on a day to day basis, but in the interior of the car and some other places it is very apparent. I decided to give the Detail Factory brushes a try but we also have few a other choices for your pet hair removal needs you can explore. At the end there’s a quick demo video as well.
Here’s a before shot of one of my cushions. It’s not that easily visible spread out, but when you get to the next picture after doing some brushing you can see how much hair there is.
Here’s an after shot of just one part of of the cushion I worked on.
The Detail Factory Pet Hair Rake works great on wider uniform surface areas and then the Detail Factory Pet Hair Brush works better in tighter spaces, so they complement each other very well. Both products get a check for ergonomics and felt comfortable in my hand.
Then I had the idea, maybe I can use the Detail Factory Pet Hair brush to deshed him and voila look at that!
Here he is posing with the Detail Factory brushes on one of his favorite cushions, actually all cushions are his favorite and his, he owns the house.
Now let’s take it to the car really quick, the before picture.
The Detail Factory Pet Hair Brush works great to get into those crevices like the side of the seats shown here. After brushing grab your vacuum to remove the hair.
Like I said before these products complement each other and depending on the surface area you’re working on, one of these should suffice. These brushes get the job done but it’s still a pain in the butt cause the hair is everywhere on all surfaces! These are just more tools to help control all the hair.
