CarPro HydrO2 Lite is the Ready to Use (RTU) variant of the popular HydrO2. That means it’s ready to go out of the bottle and there is no need to dilute. You gain the ease of use to know the product will be the same every time and don’t have to worry about dilution ratios. Especially for a product like this that is great for a mobile detailing business where maybe you have a few trucks. You won’t have to worry if people are mixing correctly.
Is it more expensive than the concentrate? Yes, of course, concentrates save money. However, how much? Here is some quick maths:
- CarPro HydrO2 Lite 1000 ml – $25.99 ($0.03 / ml)
- CarPro HydrO2 500 ml – $64.99 ($0.13 / ml) (diluted 1:6 – $0.02 / ml) so apples to apples 1000 ml (diluted) would only be $21.66. You can dilute it up to 1:10 but since it only lasts a few months already, I would keep it at 1:6. Then you would need to add the water, which would need to be stocked separate, and do a conversion from fl oz to ml because we refuse to use the metric system here.
This gives you a $4.33 difference for a 1000 ml bottle so yes, you would save a little bit of money going with the concentrate. But weigh it out against the time/work you would need to get it in usable condition.
Product review? It’s amazing just like the concentrate is. Super easy to use, just be careful you only work with a few panels at a time and, as it states, IMMEDIATELY rinse off. If you want too long, it will create streaks that will need to use a clay bar to remove.
It creates an amazing shine and an EXTREMELY slick surface. While it may not last extremely long, only a few months, the ease of application more than makes up for it.

It also allows you to easily seal multiple surfaces at the same time with the same product. You can seal paint, wheels, glass, etc all at the same time all without any buffing.
