SEMA is always full of some new, exciting and simply downright awesome releases. Every manufacturer works hard to push the limit each and every year and it makes us hold our breath, waiting to hear specifics on these new items. With that being said, trying to release a game changer each year at SEMA is not easy work and sometimes the smaller, less mind blowing releases, come into play. Below is a list of some of our manufactures that have released some items at SEMA, that may not be talked about as much. Check them out and let us know what you think!
- Grit Guard – Last year, Grit Guard released the Washboard and it has been a hit. This unit was originally only available in black, but now you can pick it up in red as well!
- Optimum – Unfortunately Optimum does not have anything lined up for a retail release this year at SEMA. They have however been working on several professional only items, such as a coating for metals for use on motorcycles. If you are a registered Opti-Coat installer, I am sure you will be hearing more about these products shortly!
- Scangrip – Scangrip has some new and improved tripods and wheel stands being released. If you like the stands you have now, you will love these! They are also going to be releasing the gen2 versions of their lights. Right now it will be months before they will be released, but some key features are: Choose between warm (4500K) and cold (6500K) temperatures, along with high CRI+ value for all 15 R values (extremely accurate color recognition).
- Flex – The long anticipated XFE 7-15 Long Stroke Orbital Polisher looks like it is finally being released at this years SEMA show. We expect to have it in stock sometime this December and you can click here to visit the product page for more detailed information on the unit.
- Braun Brush – Is bringing back the Power Woolie (PW12) to add to their already outstanding Wheel Woolie line of products. The Power Woolie is constructed with a 1/4″ hex steel shank, suitable for use in all electric or battery power drills. Is made of soft, dense carpet fibers that are 100% polypropylene, recyclable and chemical resistant.
- Metro Vac – No new radically different products at this time, but they were showing off some of their units in a new sleek matte finish!
