The Optimum No Rinse has been a staple in many detailing collections for years. Optimum is always striving to better their products and ONR has been through a few revisions throughout the years. The newest revision is the 5th iteration of this fantastic rinseless wash and this new version has some pretty great updates to version 4.
I reached out to Dr. G at Optimum and below are some highlights on what makes this new version great.
- Increased cleaning power
- Much greater lubricity, making washing easier
- Leaves minimal water behind, making drying much faster
- The drying towel glides over the surface far better due to the added lubricity
- Leaves behind a greater shine
Dr. G shared that the polymers in No Rinse were modified to increase the gliding power, increasing overall lubricity. The polymers in ONR have always done a great job encapsulating dirt and grime, pulling it from the surface during the wash process. Adding increased lubricity allows the encapsulated dirt and grime to glide off the surface, greatly reducing any swirls, scratches, etc. that can happen during the wash process. Version 5 will also release dirt better from the wash media than V4, leaving more in your bucket and less in your wash media to be introduced back onto the surface. Overall, version 5 of Optimum No Rinse has some small tweaks, but these changes greatly increase the washing ability of an already exceptional product!
