Co-owner of Dodo Juice, Dom Colbeck, shared with us that for years customers have always asked, what wax should I use on black, or dark colored paintwork. Up until now, the Purple Haze and Blue Velvet did a great job and sold extremely well. With the Black Widow Wax, the amazing shine you were used to with the Blue Velvet and Purple Haze is brought up a few notches and the durability is enhanced as well. Think wax like gloss and depth with sealant like protection! Our co-Owner Greg also spoke to Dom at SEMA a few years ago about a black specific wax. Dom stated that although it is a tough process to get right, he would work hard to find a solution. This hard work paid off and Black Widow is a welcome edition to the high quality Dodo Juice line. Since launch 9 years ago, customers have always asked us which wax they should choose for black cars. Our dark Purple Haze and Blue Velvet waxes were the natural answers, and have sold extremely well. Purple Haze is our best-selling wax ever, and the demand even led to the development of Purple Haze Pro and Blue Velvet Pro.

Today, we launch a black wax especially for black (and other dark coloured) cars, called Dodo Juice Black Widow Wax. This is based on our award-winning Supernatural Hybrid recipe – i.e. it is technically superior to either Purple Haze Pro or Blue Velvet Pro – and it will last 4-6 months on paint, with stunning beading, sheeting and wash/contamination resilience.

As it is a dark wax and we are approaching Halloween, we have had a little fun. Whilst the wax is an unlimited edition and a standard item, we decided to add a special surprise to the first 666 jars… each of these early jars contains a small plastic spider, to be discovered and removed by the user when the wax has been depleted enough.
