Everyone here at Detailed Image is excited to introduce Zach McGovern of Attention to Detailing and Jean-Claude Corcoran of Detailed Designs Auto Spa as new Authors of of the Ask-A-Pro Blog! Zach and Jean-Claude take a lot of pride in their work and they are committed to helping out the Ask-A-Pro community. They are excited to share their extensive knowledge of auto detailing and they will have articles published on the blog in the coming weeks. In the mean time, enjoy the overview of our new DI AAP Blog Authors below!

Zach grew up in West County St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri Rolla. This is a nationally recognized university, now called Missouri University of Science and Technology, that is known for its engineering program. He graduated with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and after graduating he moved to Peoria, IL to begin working for a world leading company that produces large construction and mining equipment. Early on Zach’s dad showed him the basics of how to operate a DA machine (porter cable 7424 to be exact) when he got his first car at the age of 16.  He has always taken great pride in maintaining his own vehicles and those that belong to friends and family, but he did not consider doing it professionally until a couple of years ago when he saw an ad on a local (Peoria, IL) car forum seeking detailing work.  He responded saying that he would help them out and he documented his work and posted the photos online afterwards.  Zach got a lot of positive feedback from his first ‘professional job’ and started to build interest as others contacted him to work on their vehicle.  After that first car,  Zach created “Attention to Detailing” and began polishing cars on a regular basis.  He is proud to be the sole provider of several premium products to the Peoria area and he specializes in paint correction and premium paint coatings.  No matter the year, make or model Zach is happy to work on any vehicle of a car enthusiasts. Those owners truly appreciate quality work and are always so happy when they see “their baby” restored to its proper appearance. He continues to learn more about detailing while pursuing his engineering career as a designer, but spends most nights and weekends working on detailing related projects.  Thankfully, his wife is very supportive and tolerant of his busy lifestyle. Outside of work, Zach is a huge photography enthusiast.  If he is not working, he is probably taking pictures or looking up new photo equipment to buy.  He is also into cars which you probably could have guessed and enjoys working on his Lexus IS250. Zach tries to stay active and is currently participating in volleyball rec. leagues, competitive ultimate frisbee leagues, along with snowboarding, as him and his wife try to make it out to Colorado every year or two. Zach is really excited to start contributing to the Ask-A-Pro blog and hopes to provide others with the same useful information that has helped him grow his business that he is extremely proud of today!

Jean-Claude runs Detailed Designs Auto Spa in Atlanta and he offers many different options to clean and protect your car. From basic packages to the works, Jean-Claude’s customers are satisfied and happy with the outstanding work. Detailed Designs offers many premium services like coatings, clear bra applications, window tinting, taillight and lens tinting. If you can not make it to their shop, they will come to you. This shows the type of dedication and pride they take in their work. Jean-Claude is a true automotive enthusiast and he vows to care for your car, the exact same way he would care for his own. Outside of work, Jean-Claude enjoys golfing with his buddies and going to performance driving events. He has been married since 2001 and he recently celebrated the birth of his second child. Jean-Claude has been busy as of late, but he can not wait to start writing on the AAP Blog. Stay tuned for some of his articles that you will be sure to enjoy!
