Flat EZ Detail Brush Bristles?

Flat EZ Detail Brush Bristles

The EZ Detail Brushes are staples within the detailing industry and for detailers wheel cleaning processes. These simple brushes are incredibly well made and feature a few unique areas within their construction that make them a great cleaning tool.

  • Flexible Shaft – The middle of the brush features a thin and flexible shaft. This keeps the brush small enough to get in between many different spokes and the flexible makeup allows you to twist and turn the brush to reach behind the spokes. This makes cleaning not only easy, but allows you to more thoroughly clean your wheels.
  • Nylex Bristles – The bristles of this brush are actually Nylex, which are stiff enough to clean dirt, grime, and contamination off the face of the wheel, yet soft enough to do this without scratching. Nylex also has an amazing memory to bounce back to the original shape, so you will see the bristles move in every directly, yet pop back up to the original shape quickly.

What happens if the bristles of your EZ Detail Brush move out of shape or flatten after repeated use or shipping?

The good news is this is an easy fix! As mentioned, nylex is a material that has an amazing memory to bounce back to the original shape. If your bristles are out of shape, the manufacturer suggests putting this brush in warm to hot water for a few minutes. Just fill a bucket with hot water and dunk your EZ Detail Brush. Massage the bristles a bit and you will see the bristles bounce back! You can use this method after packing your brush away after use, or after a few wheel cleanings.
